We really wanted to reduce our number of timeshares. We know that trying to sell them on your own is generally impossible. We know this both from our experience and from many friends. We investigated The Newton Group and were satisfied and reassured by what we learned. For us it was a good experience.

When we signed agreement with Newton Group wanting to exit our timeshare, we weren't sure it would work out based on our past experience. It ended up we did successfully transfer out our timeshare membership in about five months. During that period, people who works for Newton Group keep communicating with us to collect required document and signature. They are very polite and professional. It is such a pleasant experience. Newton Group Transfers was referred to me by a friend. The company gave me a call to obtain information about my case. They advised me upfront as to what information would be required to proceed in terminating my time share agreement with the resort. Several staff members assisted me by answering questions and giving me feedback promptly. Attorney fees were discussed and a payment plan was established for me. My attorney was located in Washington D.C. I was always informed regarding my appointment with my attorney (Newton Group Transfers selected the attorney) well in advance. If there were any changes in my scheduled appointment, date or time, his legal assistant always notified me ahead of time by telephone and followed up with an email of the change and gave me her telephone number when I could reach her in case I had any questions. The attorney was always prompt on the scheduled phone call and kept me appraised of any issues pending and how he would proceed. He always called at the scheduled time or within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Resolution of my time share case took a little longer that expected as the resort was slow in responding to my attorney, but it was handled in a very professional manner with results in my favor. I highly recommend Newton Group Transfers to handle your case involving any time share legal issues.

This was not cheap for what they did for me. I did all the work. At the beginning of this process Newton Group it self did not really do anything for me. Just before Newton Group handed my case over to the lawyer. They wrote a letter for me that I had to sign and send it to the Timeshare Company. But never really told me what to do after that. The Timeshare had sent me a reply back to the letter I sent out. But was never told by the Newton Group what to do from there. Had to wait a few weeks for the Attorney to contact me. Once the Attorney took over they told me what to do and i did all the work.

We met a representative from the Newton Group in December 2020 and this December 2021 we received our release of ownership from our timeshare we had with Festiva. We are so thankful. Initially we gathered all of our paperwork regarding our timeshare and got that sent to the Newton group and the process started. Everyone we worked with were very professional and reassuring. We had the option to have a attorney assigned to us for the termination process and we chose that option. Newton covered the attorney fees - the attorney was very reassuring thoughout the process and kept us up-to-date as things progressed. We are so happy we chose the Newton group. We contacted the Newton Group to get out of our timeshare and signed up with them. We ended up getting out of our timeshare by ourselves which we were originally told we could do and would be reimbursed if we did so. Well after we cancelled our own timeshare and called for reimbursement from the Newton Group we were told we were in breach of contract and would not get any of the $5,700 we had paid. So we handed them $ and got nothing i. return. So just be aware that if you pay them it’s just like a timeshare and there’s no refunds and read the fine print!

From the start, Newton group was upfront, thorough, friendly, kept us updated every step of the way. Made the entire process hassle-free.

My complaint about the Newton Group is their lack of initiative and understanding when dealing with an issue that irate me. I am adamant about not paying a $5 optional fee from the resort, but I was arm twisted by the Newton Group into pay this fee. It might seem trivial, but they failed to understand how upsetting with payment is to me. With the fees they’re charge, one would think payment might be made from petty cash.
