this is the second time I have ordered from New Hampshire Bowl and Board and I couldn't be happier.. the quality is absolutely unbelievable.... truly a keepsake bowl . I ordered a 15 inch cherry salad bowl a few years ago. I just ordered another one for my nephew's 5th wedding anniversary (traditional gift for 5th is wood) . I highly recommend these products, especially because they support working families in rural Vermont and New Hampshire.

I placed an online order for a cherry bowl that I wanted for an anniversary gift for me and my wife’s 5 year wedding anniversary. After placing the order, I decided I should have ordered the wood care kit as well, so I called New Hampshire Bowl to see if I could have it added to the order. While talking to to the gentleman on the phone he informed me that because of a shortage of dried cherry wood they would not have the cherry bowls for a few months. He told me that they had some beautiful maple bowls that he could personalize and send out immediately. He said he would try his best to get it to us by our anniversary, which was only a few days away. I agreed to the maple bowl in place of the cherry and he said he would include the care kit for free. The bowl arrived on our anniversary and is absolutely gorgeous! My wife loves it! Thank you so much for your quality service and product and for making an extra effort to have it arrive on time. You made our anniversary extra special! We will definitely be recommending New Hampshire Bowl to friends and family!

Benjamin! It's all about the 5th wood anniversary! So very pleased that we added a little something to your celebration. All best wishes, and many thanks for the kind review.

The bowl is a lovely, reasonably priced product. Would have given the vendor a "five star" rating were it not for the fact that it took nearly two months from the time of the purchase to delivery, without the vendor making any effort to inform me why it was as long in coming as it was (learned what the delay was only by phoning the vendor myself). Vendor also charged my credit card weeks before the product was delivered, which I think is bad form.

Alfred You placed your order on 6/21/21 Late Monday the bowl was in your hands 7/23/21. (3-5 days for shipping) Big walnut bowls like the one you received are rare. My prices are low because I am 73 years old and refused to ship a bowl that doesn`t meet my standard established in 1972. Customer service is not my best first concern . As for billing your card the computer does all that for me I am not sure just how, but we would not schedule a rare large bowl for you without payment. Paulie

Just purchased my second 14-inch bowl from NHBB..... The first one was cherry and the one I just recently purchased was maple. This size is perfect for 6-8 servings. Both bowls are beautiful and are of such incredible quality. The maple, with the varied coloring, is exceptionally beautiful. The owner of the company is so extremely helpful and nice, and the bowls were shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Getting a bowl of this quality, made from one solid piece of wood and which will last forever if cared for properly, is so worth what you’ll pay. These bowls make a beautiful wedding gift. The engraving on the bottom of the bowl, which the owner offers at no additional cost, is a special added touch that will make the gift a lifelong, treasured reminder of the special day!
