Merchandise is very well made. My only problem was the shipping cost. Had to purchase more items for free shipping.

Thank you! And yes, shipping has become expensive. Hope you liked the "extra" items you ordered.

Received my bowl and salad tongues. The photo of the bowl online that I ordered was walnut with a lighter wood inlay down the centre of the bowl. I was a little surprised when it came in one solid tone of dark walnut. I guess it depends on the piece of wood it us carved from. Nevertheless it is still stunning. The salad tongues were beautiful but I wish the handles were a bit longer so they would rest on the bowl sides instead of slipping into the salad. All in all beautiful artisanship.

Sue, Thanks so much for writing a review! Glad you like your bowl, and yes, mother Nature dictates the patterning of the bowls! Appreciate the feed-back on the salad tongs too!

The bowl is a lovely, reasonably priced product. Would have given the vendor a "five star" rating were it not for the fact that it took nearly two months from the time of the purchase to delivery, without the vendor making any effort to inform me why it was as long in coming as it was (learned what the delay was only by phoning the vendor myself). Vendor also charged my credit card weeks before the product was delivered, which I think is bad form.

Alfred You placed your order on 6/21/21 Late Monday the bowl was in your hands 7/23/21. (3-5 days for shipping) Big walnut bowls like the one you received are rare. My prices are low because I am 73 years old and refused to ship a bowl that doesn`t meet my standard established in 1972. Customer service is not my best first concern . As for billing your card the computer does all that for me I am not sure just how, but we would not schedule a rare large bowl for you without payment. Paulie

Excellent handmade item - the first one we got was cracked, which got a bit sticky, but they were quick to respond and replace our item and we’re very happy with it. I might suggest that it could be a little bigger but generally it’s fabulous!

It looks great but I thought I personalized it and it wasn’t on there. Oh well.

OMG, you did ask for the bowl to be personalized. We blew it. But we can fix it. I'll email in the morning. So very sorry.
