Still not working and support not helping. Waste of time and money

I have had the Xen for almost 3 weeks. I got it turned on one time, for part of the night. Keeping it linked to my phone is one problem. The minimalist directions are not clear. The app directions can not be read, with 20/20 vision, without my phone’s brightness setting turned up high so that the minuscule font size can be read. There are no options to make the font larger or to make the background black and the text white. This at least should make the thing readable. Customer service? What is that? They won’t answer the phone. They do not make printable directions available. They do not reply to email even when asking for a refund or when my Dr contacted them in my behalf! The bright lights on the thing and the app are great for keeping you awake. If your problem is sleep, don’t waste your money…

First, the saline bottle doesn't open. Next, the Xen does not work. Music plays through my phone and not the earbuds. I feel no sensation during a session. Finally, I called on 12/26, but no support personnel is working it seems and I will need to wait until Monday to hopefully get this resolved.

Hi Sheri, Thanks for sharing this feedback. A few clarifications that may be useful: • Saline bottle: The micro-drop saline bottle can require a firm pull to remove the bottle from the outer canister on first use. We agree this isn’t obvious and are improving how it’s explained. • Audio & stimulation: Xen uses two Bluetooth connections — one in the Neuvana app (for the stimulation) and a second through the phone’s Bluetooth audio settings. If the audio connection isn’t completed, music will play through the phone speaker and stimulation won’t occur. This is a setup issue rather than a device malfunction. • Support availability: You called late afternoon ET the day after Christmas (and didn't leave a message), when support coverage was limited. That said, clearer communication around availability would have helped, and we’re addressing that. We’re available this weekend to walk through setup by phone and resolve this directly. If Xen isn’t a fit after proper setup, our return policy applies.

I really wanted this device to work, but it fails at the most basic function: pairing mode. Half the time it won’t connect at all. And when it finally does, the intensity is completely unreliable. Some days it does nothing, other times it randomly works for a moment and stops again. Most of the time, all you get is music playing, not actual stimulation. That’s not what I paid for. For the price, it’s unbelievable how inconsistent and poorly designed the whole thing is. After spending this much, I expected something reliable, not a device that only works “when it feels like it.” In my experience: not worth it, not reliable, and definitely not living up to its promises.

I purchased the Xen device on the recommendation of my ENT specialist at the Thonon-les-Bains hospital in France. Despite being on a limited budget due to my disability status, I made the financial effort because I was seeking a real solution for vagus nerve stimulation. However, none of the provided ear tips are usable: – Small ones fall out, – Medium ones must be held by hand to stay in place, – Large ones are painful and unusable. The device cannot be used as intended. Worse: no reply from customer support, despite a detailed email and open ticket (#20020) sent several days ago. This is unacceptable for a product at this price point, especially one that claims to promote comfort and wellness. I strongly advise against buying it — unless you enjoy wasting your money.
