This site masquerades as the DMV
I would rate this site 0 stars, if I could! An internet search for the California DMV led me to this site, which masqueraded as the real DMV. Thank goodness I knew my registration should be way less than they were trying to charge me and realized I was not, in fact, on the California DMV site. They were trying to charge me an additional $72.06 in unnecessary fees on a simple vehicle renewal! I then went to the real DMV site and avoided all of those fees! Had I not remembered the approximate amount of my renewal, I would have fallen for this hook, line and sinker. Please beware!
