Although the registration renewal interface (portal) for our users is online, the real work is done behind-the-scenes, by our awesome employees, and we're doing our very best to keep our offices staffed and continue offering our valued customers the expedited DMV services they've come to expect from us, including our super speedy next-day shipping, instant download of your renewed registration card, and our above par customer support... yay!!! All fees are displayed to our customers prior to checkout, and we include the breakdown of the fees in the invoice we email you immediately after checkout... along with your instant DMV registration e-card. Dear Glenn, we highly recommend you file a theft and/or lost mail report with your local Post Master prior to you placing a replacement registration request online. Due to having not received our shipment twice, we unfortunately are unable to mail you a re-print replacement order. It is now required that a new registration card and sticker (serialized inventory) be issued for your vehicle, and the old sticker number be invalidated due to the possibility of mail theft. This requirement is designed to help identify any vehicle on the roadway in possession of the invalidated DMV inventory for criminal apprehension. It is important to note, NeedTags has transferred your vehicle registration payment to the California Department of Motor Vehicles and your vehicle's registration fees have been paid in full. You are in no jeopardy of accruing late fees or penalty. Per California Department of Motor Vehicles BPA regulations registration payments are final and can not be reversed however other remedies, such as free replacement orders, do exists. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review, Ashley! Our records indicate you ordered CA Department of Motor Vehicles title transfer services through NeedTags.com. Our system accepted your title transfer request, entered your transaction details and vehicle information into our title processing system, and our agents began working on the paperwork necessary to complete your title transfer application, including and not limited to, retrieving DMV vehicle data through the DMV Business Partner Automation System, which required us to pay fees. Your paperwork arrived at our office incomplete. We mailed your documents back to you to be properly filled out along with instruction via email during several points of contact with our agents. NeedTags provided you a great deal of service, expending valuable resources. At checkout, along with being disclosed all fees (DMV and our service fees) you were made aware that all sales are final. You accepted these terms, yet requested cancellation after NeedTags rendered service, and disputed our charge with your credit card company. Your credit card company did in fact side with NeedTags given NeedTags did provide you service as promised. To ensure our customers are always charged correct and true DMV fee amounts, NeedTags utilizes API driven technology and retrieves registration fee data from the DMV database in real-time. Payments made to us are immediately transferred to the California Department of Motor Vehicles, and all fees are displayed to our customers prior to checkout.
