Truly amazing product a lot of people don’t understand what they’re talking about and I guess the reason is because he gets so much more for your money. This has a lot of stuff that you don’t get you know you get HDMI input wireless CarPlay android auto lifetime, etc. I think people don’t understand the most important is that gets outdated because you can update the product I have a provider before I have to remove from the company provides the second one is one gotta buy new one so I said $150 got a cheaper version prior to buying this product and then I’m paying again. This is my second one so I in my car for a couple years in my car so I went out a different brand because I wanted to save money turns out that after a year and a half I still have the same car and I’ll buy a new product because they told me that the product was from them cannot be updated. I mean it was my fault that didn’t even notice that the product don’t have anything like that and I knew that I just know so I had navtool in my old car and I was naïve thinking that just to verify and it seems like this brand is the only one that does it so now you know to buy this brand if you don’t wanna have headaches

Do not buy from them unless you are a professional installer. I bought an item from them after spending hours asking questions about their product and installing needs and was told it is simple plug and play and letting them know I am a consumer not an installer. Received the product and above my abilities and does not offer the features I specically asked the chat rep. Called to return the product and was told it was a clearance item, not listed or disclosed on the website and they will not accept the return. The rep was very rude from the start and did not want to hear from me on the situation. The reps response to my input was I should have read the return policy before purchase. I got a quote from an installer and it is almost $900.
Very unprofessional to post my personal contact information. Your representative was rude to me and thats a fact. I am formally telling you to remove my personal information.

Let's break down this review.
The customer contacted us directly, bypassing any professional, so it is expected that they can work on their car.
Now, the customer says: "I bought this item from them after spending hours asking questions about their product and installing needs, letting them know I'm a consumer, not an installer."
It is still simple plug-and-play. Not a single wire to cut; it comes with plug-and-play connectors. You just match them to your navigation in the trunk, and you're done.
Then the customer says they received the product and it is "above my abilities and does not offer features specifically asked for."
Plug-and-play cannot be above anyone's abilities. There is only one kind of plug-and-play: you plug it in at your navigation brain. It is in the name, right? The abilities don't change. Saying you ordered a car part that is above your abilities to do plug-and-play makes no sense. If the customer asks if it is simple plug-and-play, yes, it remains simple plug-and-play. There aren't two ways about it: you unplug a connector, plug it in, and you're done. That is exactly what it is.
As for claiming it doesn't offer the features asked for, the customer asked for wireless Bluetooth calling. Well, why do they think the antenna is there? Besides, there is no way for them to know whether it has the feature if they never even plugged it into the car.
Finally, the customer bought a clearance item. That is clearly explained on the website. We listened to the conversation: the rep was trying to explain that it is a clearance item, and the customer just hung up. That is why our return policy is posted on the website, to show what happens when you purchase clearance.
The main facts about this review remain:
1. The customer claims the install is above their abilities, but the product is simple plug-and-play; that never changed.
2. The customer claims it lacks the requested features, but there is no way to know that without ever plugging it into the car.

Very disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with NavTool. No clear instructions, and after contacting them daily for over three weeks, we still have no straight answer or solution. Support has been unhelpful and uncooperative. Extremely frustrating.

IT IS A TOTAL SCAM & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER…
IT IS A TOTAL SCAM & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
It arrived after about 6 weeks later after being told it would be dispatched on the following Monday (3 days from ordering),
there is no support after hours even though they advertise 24/7 on their emails
"NavTool Advantages:
• Lifetime Warranty.
• 24/7/365 Support.
• 100% Made In USA.
• Designed In USA.
• Most Technologically Advanced.
• NavTool Since 2000
• 25 Years of Experience Making Video Interfaces.
• Buy American. Support American Jobs."
And they are very rude, you never know who your talking to and no replies at all, often
no instructions was included, just that it will work, then they say it needs reprogramed with no time window when asked, sent it back and they lost it, said they didn't receive it, NavTools just said that it wasn't here, got my money back from the credit card supplier not from them.
I would not buy from this company
They said it would just work and did not provide technical help, they only provided one word answers with out knowing who you are talking to.
Also their marketing doesn't show that it needs a separate remote that is connected by blue tooth
They say that they issued a refund directly but this is un-true as I received it from the credit card company
They are good at marketing but terrible at after sale service, once they've taken your money and you need help.
They say that they sent the goods as a non standard product but didn't tell me any of this, they just delayed in sending it without any communication.
before purchasing, I provided photos of my setup in detail as requested but just got a bunch of wires and no manual (its only available on line once you receive the item)
I would have expected a lot more form a USA company
Only after this review, they are changing their story they have removed the 24/7 technical support from their website!! They say that they said they didn't know if it would work, which is a complete lie as they said it would as there is only 2 systems and they sent both to make sure they didn't need to send anything else. This does not remove the fact that there was no after sales help, with lots of unanswered emails to support.
And then to add my personal details to and honest review to a reply from AI without checking it!!!!
(BTW i am happy for anyone to contact me and I will provide any screenshots or evidence that would substantiate my claim of poor service or lack of support.)
this post has been edited 8 times as much as Navtools tries to explain away the problems, I still stand by what I've said and are happy for anyone to contact me directly

Not our customer. Did not purchase from us; purchased elsewhere from China. Expecting us to support a product that we did not sell.

No after sales support whatsoever
Dislikes first since that’s what everyone comes for. When purchasing you have their full attention. The moment you click submit order the attention stops. After sales customer service is cookie cutter answers (if you get an answer to begin with). Shipping takes around 10 days. And that it. Just no after sales support whatsoever.
The good. I have a 2012 Honda Pilot with factory navigation. The kit was semi simple to install it myself. Took less than an hour. It pretty much is plug in play. However you have tons of extra wires and the box to deal with. It was hard to get the stereo back in its place with all the additional cords. However, not impossible. Once install was completed, it works as advertised. Once the car is on, I hold down my ‘back’ button for 3 seconds and it switches over. Wireless CarPlay on a 2012 car. Siri works. Maps. Everything. And you can listen to the radio while the CarPlay is running. The product is great as long as you have a basic idea of what you are doing for installation.

Navtool, Buyer beware
My experience with Navtool:
I paid $239.99 to Navtool for a video interface. I asked them to send me an instruction manual with my purchase. They didn't do that. I received a box with some wires shoved in it. No paperwork, no instructions. I immediately tried reaching them to get the instructions. After several days and many attempts, I was finally able to reach them and they emailed me the instructions. That was the best part of my interactions with this company. It went downhill after that. I followed the terrible instructions and the interface did not work. I have chatted with a company representative online several times, I've talked to them on the phone multiple times, sent them pictures and emailed with them over 30 times. Their interface does not work. They had me open the interface box and change the position of dip switches inside and they had me reprogram the interface to a totally different vehicle and it still doesn't work. The car was torn apart for two weeks while I tried everything they suggested. It still doesn't work. I finally gave up and put my car back together.
After all my communication with this company, they have refused to stand behind their product. Even though I have called them on the phone, chatted online with them, sent them pictures and emailed extensively with them, they said I didn't facetime with them. Seriously, that's what they said. What a joke. This is a shady company who would find any reason not to stand behind their product. If you don't believe me, look long and hard at their return policy. They have a loophole for every occasion to not refund your money. The number two reason not to refund your money is, Only regular-priced items are eligible for return. The problem is everything on their website is "marked down", so they have a built in reason not to give a refund. Buyer beware! You have been warned!
Update after response: I gave you multiple times to make this right and you refused. Now you can live with my review.
Update after your second response/excuse: I purchased it from your website. It was not used from someone else. What is the next nonsense you will throw out here to try to excuse your terrible product and worse customer service?
Update after your third response: How convenient for you. If you had spent this much effort trying to fix the problem and back your product as you are protesting this review, we wouldn't be here right now. Maybe you can treat this as a learning moment and treat any future customers better than you treated me.
Update after your fourth excuse: I've covered your excuses in my review. Keep putting out more excuses. The consumers that read your reviews will see right through your excuses for what they are. Keep up the good work! You are proving my point for me!
Update after your fifth excuse: I wish I would have known that you were going to spend this much time changing your answers on this review. For anyone doing research, Trustpilot allows you to edit your answers. NavTool has deleted their responses/excuses 5 times now! If I had known, I would have taken screen shots of how ridiculous they are that they have changed their answers 5 different times. I have only added my additional responses so the consumer doing their research could see how shady your company is.
I have supplied you with my name, date, and email address address originally and you told me too bad! You were rude to me and would not stand behind your product. Your product is garbage and didn't work! I had no recourse at all but to leave reviews for you. It's only now that I have written the truth in this review that you have given me any attention at all. How convenient for you to not remember or can't find that I purchased with you. I have the receipt in my hand! There is no way for me to post it here on Trustpilot or I would!
Consumers doing their research can read this review and decide for themselves what kind of company you are and who to believe.
Update after your 6th response: The facts do remain the same. I bought an inferior product from your company, it didn't work and you wouldn't help me make it work AND you wouldn't refund my money. I have supplied you with all the information you asked for and you have spent more time in this review than you did trying to help me. I did have to buy an interface from Navicks that did work. A much better product. A much better company with better customer service. Those are the facts.

Thank you for reaching out. We are writing to address the concerns raised in your recent review.
To begin, we would like to clarify that we have no record of a customer or business by the name of "Mitchell Garage" in our system, and a search for this entity yields no results. Furthermore, your review does not include an order number, a purchase date, or an email address. If this were a legitimate transaction, we would have expected these details to be provided; a genuine customer would not rely on anonymous or unverifiable information when seeking support.
While we understand that you are frustrated, we must clarify our policy regarding the secondary market. Our warranty and return services are designed exclusively for products purchased directly from us. We cannot provide support or returns for units acquired secondhand, as we have no way to verify the history or condition of those items. To receive a warranty, a product must be purchased brand new directly through our company.
We are proud to offer one of the most comprehensive return policies in the industry, allowing for returns within 60 days of the original purchase date for any product bought directly from us. However, this policy does not extend to items purchased from third-party sellers or resellers.
Please understand that no matter how often this review is updated, the facts remain the same: you did not purchase this product from us. If you had, you would have been able to provide your order details long ago. We recommend contacting the authorized retailer where the item was originally acquired, as they are the only party equipped to assist you with your request.
Best regards,

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. They don’t tell you that you can’t use your factory touchscreen to control the Apple CarPlay feature. Customer support asked for a picture of my face and my photo ID, what creeps! They will not stand behind the functionality of their product, luckily I paid with Venmo so I’m in the process of disputing the charge. I purchased the item directly from their website, despite what they said in their reply. And I was on chat with their customer support all day today. I have the order number and UPS tracking readily available if you like it.
