As a cash only customer of NAPA (formerly Dorset Auto Spares) for several years I decided to place a single order to the value of over £1,000 with my local East Devon branch, many parts were required, 99% were correct however one important item was wrongly ordered by NAPA, and a further two items ordered separately were faulty, the branch mangers attitude was far from apologetic, and I feel a great sense of him falling below the standards NAPA expect of a team leader in terms of customer relations and competency!

I order some small clips for door handle for my vehicle. When I submitted the order on the NAPA website it never mention that it was taking 3-4 days to get deliver to the store. It actually said to pick up the next day. I found out that delivery was a few days from store. Ok, no problem. The day of delivery, I called the store to see if clips were delivered. The Store associate answered and straight off the bat, no greeting what so ever. Ask if it was delivered. He ask me If I received an email that they were ready for pickup. I said no, and with an attitude what was my order #. I said I didn't know, and more of his attitude, well you should've known that # if I order online. I can't believe it. This the the 2nd time in this store I get an attitude from the store rep. Where is the good customer service with respect to their customers. I told my self that I won't buy from this store ever again. I don't know what it is their problem but their in the wrong business working there as a customer service. I'm sorry but I notice the his attitude by their tone of voice and sarcastic. Disappointing!

Inner tie rod threads to steering rack incorrectly formed during production. Quality control must not exist with this company. The only reason I've given 2 stars is the way the local branch handled this. Direct swap for a good unit from stock. Not the first time I've had issues with Napa parts but it will be the last as I've decided I won't fit anything in the Napa range ever again. If the bits I can see are poor quality. Then what about the bits I can't. 🤔

I ordered a car part that was suppose to arrive the next day. I ordered it so I could get it the next day as I needed my car on the road. Over a week later it had still not arrived, there were just constant emails saying it was delayed. From the first email I contacted Napa to say I wanted to cancel it as I needed it immediately. They said I could not cancel the order but could return it for a FULL refund. When it did eventually arrive I returned it as instructed and when I checked the refund on my credit card it was about 70% of what they had charged for the order. I had to purchase the part from another source, lost a bunch of money because they could not honor their delivery timeline and they lied about the refund.

Bad customer service

Was in dire need of brake pads for my vehicle. (Why else would a person purchase them?!) Absolutely no auto parts stores in my area had what I needed in stock. Based on my specific vehicle, Napa was only one of two auto parts stores that had pads available for order. I chose Napa because their website stated they shipped SAME day. Placed my order on Monday, December 23 before 1 PM EST. On checkout screen as well as my order confirmation, projected delivery date was Thursday, December 26. Unfortunately, my package hadn’t even been accepted by the carrier by 12/26. I made a phone call, lasting 15 minutes, to Napa customer service on 12/26 inquiring what was going on with my order. Rep had no answers and opened an incident ticket. Ironically, two hours after that phone call my package was suddenly “picked up” by the carrier. I didn’t receive the brake pads until 12/31. And they arrived with NO hardware!

Napa usually gets it right the first time so I was willing to try to put an order together. Placed an online order for pick up. When the Paypal and confirmation invoice didn't match I cancelled the order. They want to hold an additional 5 percent in case they got the taxes wrong. Overpriced and Outdated. Get it together.

Purchased 2 cv joints from local motor factors fitted one side fine other one not so good. The second cv joint had totally different inner splines, my driveshaft has 28 splines the cv joint had 22 but was in the same part numbered box as the 1st part. Luckily local factors are helpful and have reordered another one. Glad i didnt grease it up before i tried to fit it.
