Bought motorbike battery on ebay and it failed after 3 months. 1 month after the deadline to give an ebay review. Contacted them directly and provided amp and voltage readings they asked for then they blocked my messages and don't respond. Subsequently realised I paid double the price for the battery. Complete rip off AVOID

Visited the La Pine store on Highway 97 today July 21, 2026. This has been the 3rd time I've looked online for NAPA and it showed the desired part could be ordered online and picked up in 30 minutes. I, again, made a 20 mile roundtrip from Lazy River South and requested the cheapest NAPA air filter for my 1998.5 Dodge RAM 2500 Cummins 5.9L 24 Valve. The NAPA online indicated it could be purchased for $25.89. However, the older gentleman sitting on his stool at the parts station closest to the door indicated that the only available NAPA air filter for the vehicle was a NAPA Gold Engine Air Filter for considerably more. I requested the cheaper one and he claimed they didn't have it. Either he was lying of NAPA online was lying. Regardless, I left the store, drove the 10 miles home and order a Bosch Air Filter 5558WS for $14.38, which I'll get tomorrow. I may be somewhat slow but I'm learning. NAPA countermen are good teachers. They're teaching me not to waste my time and money to go through their NAPA store. Instead, go through Amazon and get the product cheaper in a day and save my time and money.

Appalling service at Newport IoW branch – Zero help, zero response to formal complaint. I am writing this public review after NAPA completely ignored my formal email complaint sent two weeks ago.I ordered a leisure battery from Tayna for collection at the NAPA Auto Centres Newport branch (Isle of Wight). Despite receiving a collection email, the counter staff refused to release it without a 4-digit code that did not exist in my email. Staff offered no help, forced me to leave the store to find mobile signal/WiFi at a nearby shop even though it was one of those 30 degree days , and made me wait while finishing personal phone calls. When I returned, the branch manager, Sue, was obstructive and dismissive. She blamed Tayna for the system error. Even after Sue spoke directly to Tayna on the phone—and Tayna expressly authorised her to release the battery to me with my ID—Sue flatly refused to give it to me.I was forced to cancel my order on the spot due to pure incompetence and unhelpful staff. I wasted over an hour in-store plus an hour of travel time. This experience directly violates the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding service performed with reasonable care and skill. NAPA's head office has completely ignored my request for an explanation and an apology. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered WRONG starter motor, did not check with AA which part it was. Told me parts would be in on certain time but they didn't arrive. Picked up starter motor and battery but charged for 2 starter motors. Tom whom I dealt with was not taking responsibility for his mistakes. They came to the house twice because 2nd part ordered was wrong. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered a product from them and returned it for refund. They said they will issue me a credit within 24-48 hours. I came back to their website to inquire why I haven't received the money yet, they said that I had to wait another 24-48 hours. Unprofessional. I shouldn't have checked their review before ordering. Looks like they have a lot of bad reviews.

The battery light came on in my son's car. Hired a remote technician to diagnose the issue. Bad alternator. Went and got an alternator at Napa. Put it in the car and the car still would not charge. Then took the car to an independent service shop. He diagnosed the brand new alternator as defective and put another in from his parts supplier. Car is now charging and running fine. Tried to take the defective alternator back to Napa and they would not take it back saying that it tested fine on their tester. They basically took $325 from me. Have done business with Napa for over 30 years. Done now.

Daylight robbery – absolutely disgusting service The man at the counter is a thief, dishonest, and an outright liar. Last year, I went in to buy brake pads. He quoted me a ridiculous price of £50 – even more expensive than Euro Car Parts. When I told him to cancel the order, he suddenly dropped the price to £35 without any explanation or even mentioning the discount. I only realised when he told me the new price at the till. This year, I called for a quote on a clutch kit. When I went to collect it, he claimed the person on the phone hadn’t included the delivery fee. I was furious, but since my car was already in the garage and I didn’t want to delay getting it fixed, I ended up paying the extra charge. Later, I checked the brand online and discovered they’d completely ripped me off – I found the exact same part £85 cheaper elsewhere. Absolutely disappointed. I will never buy from these charlatans again. Avoid at all costs – the older man at the counter is a professional liar.
