Was underneath a truck in 20 degree weather in E. Washington. Needed a part that I jumped online and purchased. Sent my son to grab the part with the receipt printed out, my credit card that was used to purchase the part. He got there and called me saying the guy, Chris in the North division location in Spokane, wouldn't let him pick it up because he wasn't the pick up person. Said he needed ID, to which I relayed to my son (as Chris would not talk to me directly on the phone).... that I would take a picture of my ID. He said that would not work and gave no reason why. I then told my son to purchase separately with his own money and the guy tells him that they are out of that product and he would have to drive 8 miles to the next NAPA to get it while it is sitting on the counter. 100% vindictive move. I had to cancel my item, as he wouldn't give it to my son with 2 forms of proof of purchase and a credit card in my name, and then finally let my son purchase the part. This was all 30 minutes to close by the way and we would not have made it to the next NAPA in time and would have had to leave the truck overnight outside unfixed in 20 degree weather. Almost forgot.... I called the NAPA store and asked for Chris and asked why he wouldn't talk to me, to which he overtalked me and told me he was doing his job... not letting me talk then hung up on me.... to which I called back and let the phone ring for 2 minutes to which I got another quick answer then hang up. I called again and he answered.. I asked again why the issues to which he overtalked me again not letting me speak then hung up on me for the third time. Completely unacceptable customer service and I will never be going back to any NAPA from here on out. Sad day that a company that used to be the standard is now a cheap imitation of it's former self.

napa online. don't bother. they don't ship on the dates they say they will. online chat cant deal with online orders. calling the number (that can deal with online orders) is useless, they hardly speak english, an they cannot cancel an unshipped order. you have to return to store and wait 5 to 7 days for a refund. pure crap online company.

I’ve shopped solely at Napa for over 30 years. My last visit was my last one. I’ve never walked out without what I needed until now. The (new) guy at the counter would only look up a part number which I didn’t have but did have the old part with me. It was a very common part used in over 10 different model machines but wouldn’t get off his chair and look for one. The old timers that used to work there would find this part without even looking on the computer. I even told him this part is available on line for less but wanted to keep my business local. Apparently he couldn’t care less and said oh well. Pretty sad. And local businesses wonder why people shop on line.

Part of my Order was a three-piece Funnel Set, for which they only put only one of the Funnels in the box. I emailed them with specifics, for which they replied that I had to call. After going through their worthless and time-consuming audio prompts, I was connected to someone probably in the Philippines. The said I had to box-up the funnel and bring it to a UPS Store, for which I asked that they have UPS pick it up since it was NAPA's mistake; which they refused. After driving several miles to a UPS Store, I discovered their computers were down; then having to drive further to a new UPS location. This location didn't have Bar Code scanning capabilities, and then had to charge me for printing my label. So, I've spent several hours and $10 in gas and labels for NAPA's ineptitude. As a result, I won't shop at NAPA again in this lifetime...

I was looking to get 12 qts of Castrol 5w-50. Napa has a google ad for $6.89 per qt but when you click on it the NAPA website says $12.49
