I did not go out of my way to leave this post Namco invited me to leave one......I purchased a pool through Namco and had to wait for installation because of weather and the installer kept blowing me off. Every time I called Namco to find out what I could do for another installer they had no answers for me. Poor customer service in Salem NH last year. The regional manager was a complete jerk too!! I wouldn’t step foot into a Namco again even if my life depended on it. This platform won’t let me use the words I really want to use..........

It is well over a year that my pool has been rusting on the top panels. I have contacted customer service, and when I finally got a response...I was told to go to the store with the item numbers sent via email and the store would get me the replacement panels...since the pool is under warranty for 25years...right!!?? Nope, the store had no idea what I was talking about and the manager at the danbury store made a copy of the email and was suppose to get back to me...that was over 6 months ago. So I have a pool with rusting top panels supposedly under warranty and no one knows how to fix this. I don't want to hear that they were bought by a new company. The warranty still stands when there is new ownership...this is a terrible company...I am so disappointed! Anna and Jimmy Ruggiero, Sandy Hook, CT.

Cover did not do what it was designed to do. Held water on top of cover all winter. Would have been a heck of a lot cheaper to buy a tarp from Lowe's... It would have done the same thing. Have had a siphon on it prepared fire the next rainfall. Received only very limited assistance from customer service.

Terrible customer service and never have anything in stock. Stopped shopping there for good. Not worth the aggravation.

poor treatment of employees

They promise (namco store manager) to replace metal railing around the pool once it got rusted within the time frame period which it did less than 3 years it started getting rusted. brought it to their attention with photos and all they kept giving me the runner around for so long until warranty expired than said it has expired. Very unprofessional on their part after spending more than 5,000 in their namco store from purchasing the pool and supplies to maintain the pool clean etc..they do not own to their own word!!! false advertised company! Taking long to fix the situation so the warranty could expire to play you like a fool.

After careful consideration and recommendations from friends, we entrusted Namco with our pool purchase and installation. It was supposed to be an exciting and happy time, but it turned into a colossal cluster and disappointment. The frustration was paramount. The sales process itself was smooth and easy. We received timely information and effective communication. That is where the positive experience ended. The primary person we dealt with was clearly overwhelmed, disorganized and didn’t have the tools she needed to execute the timely delivery of the pool and it’s tools. We knew this because she told us, on many occasions, through tears. And there was lots of crying- on her part. It became clear there was discord between the installer and Namco. It took several phone calls and emails from Namco who had issues with the contract with the installer. The installer confided in us that he had issues with Namco corporate. However it was clear he had a great relationship with the sales woman in Westbrook. So much in fact that when I had expressed dissatisfaction in the process, the installer called and reprimanded me by saying she was “stressed” and I had made her cry. And “NOT call her!” Having been in the service industry for many years, I was nothing but polite and professional. I simply answered her question by saying I was disappointed. Having the installer call me to tell me -the paying customer- to handle her with kid gloves was infuriating! We didn’t just pay THOUSANDS of dollars to manage someone’s feelings. However, knowing that we had to rely on them for the pool our children were anxiously awaiting, we did our best to not communicate at all with her. Which is ridiculous and caused me many trips to the store because she couldn’t order parts accurately. A month after the installation, we noticed the liner slip under the skimmer. The liner could be replaced, FOC, but we had to CUT the section and send as proof. So the liner company wanted us to DRAIN our pool (which they wouldn’t reimburse us for per the agreement) instead of just sending a new liner. Insane! This is probably the worst vendor experience we’ve ever encountered. We will NEVER use Namco again nor would be recommend them.
