1★ – Long delays, contradictory communication, cancellation ignored
I placed an online order for several cashmere sweaters on November 10. After weeks passed with no shipping confirmation, I contacted customer service on November 25. I was told the order would ship “that week,” but it did not. Over the following weeks, I received multiple, conflicting ship dates from different customer service representatives. Each time I followed up, the timeline changed. By December 11—more than a month after placing the order—I requested multiple times in writing that the order be canceled and refunded. I was told this request could be escalated. Despite that, the company fulfilled and shipped the order anyway, then informed me it was “too late” to cancel and that I would need to return the items after delivery. While I eventually received an apology email from the founder, it was oddly signed “Love, Matt,” which felt unprofessional given the circumstances. The only compensation offered was a discount code for a future purchase, which did nothing to resolve the situation or restore trust. The core issue wasn’t just the delay—it was the poor communication, shifting information, and failure to honor a clear cancellation request. Based on this experience, I would not order again and would caution others, especially if timing matters.
