I’m so pleased we chose to do this. I have a golden retriever pup who’s been struggling with allergies(ear infections and paw chewing) for years now and with the vet saying it would cost upwards of 1k to just get an allergy test which we can’t afford, we felt stuck but just wanted to help her get better. The results were quick and easy to understand. Although she is allergic to a lot we have found a food that hopefully has no sensitivities for her but we will see how she gets on with it. Overall, I couldn’t recommend getting this test enough, especially in dogs with sensitivities or allergy’s. It helps you avoid the things that might be causing the problems.

Don’t use this company for the following reasons: 1) The info they send back is generic and of no use to people who’s pets have genuine issues 2) they suggest that garlic and onions are safe for dogs - neither are, so their advice is dangerous 3) they sneakily add a subscription to 24/7 vet advice to your basket. If you don’t notice, they start taking this monthly til you cancel.

Regarding your concerns about items such as grapes and garlic appearing on the report: these ingredients are included as part of the range of substances we analyse for potential sensitivities. Their presence on the report does not indicate that they are safe for pets to consume. As you correctly noted, both grapes and garlic are known to be harmful to dogs. A “no sensitivity detected” result simply means that, based on our testing, there is no measurable sensitivity response to that item. It does not override established veterinary guidance on toxicity or safety. With regard to the 24/7 Vetline subscription, this is offered at multiple stages during the checkout process, including on the product page, within the basket, and post-purchase. If the option is not removed, or if a one-click purchase method is used, the subscription may be included and will be billed as a monthly recurring service. This is clearly displayed during purchase, and a welcome email is also sent with full details on how to access the service and manage your subscription. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Great info for my pug Life saving I do think they should send a kit that is labeled to ship back the sample, also a printed copy of the results for the $89 It cost (should be included) We, as a consumer, do a lot of work for these results

Stay away from this company. The 24/7 Vet access is a scam - I paid for it, never got any login or access info and when I requested a refund because I never got access, they refused to provide me a refund. The allergy test itself is an unknown - got it done, completely changed my dog's food based on the results and my dog actually got worse, not better. Can't definitively say if it worked or not. But as far as customer service goes, solely based off my absolutely insane interaction with them and them refusing to provide me with a refund for a service I never received, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Stay away and find a company with better values. They should be ashamed.

However, customers are able to cancel at any time during the free trial period to avoid any further charges moving forward. Regarding the results, our testing is a food sensitivity test, not an allergy diagnostic test. It identifies potential sensitivities based on your pets body’s responses, and is intended to support dietary adjustments rather than provide medical diagnosis. Individual responses to dietary changes can vary depending on multiple factors, including gradual adaptation and overall diet.
