Plastic vs. Cardboard
I switched from the plastic applicators to the cardboard. I switched because I am committed to using less plastic. Sometimes the tampons stick in the cardboard and can't be used. I had to throw tampons in the trash because I couldn't get them to advance through the applicator. Overall, I like the company and the products. I just wish that the cardboard applicators worked as well as the plastic.

Hi Cherona, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. I think I have a trick that might help with the deployment of the tampon! We have noticed that it helps to slightly twist the outer tube and inner tube of the applicator in opposite directions before insertion. This will help unlock the tabs, those little indentations that hold the applicator together, making it easier to deploy the tampon.
