About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Sweet dreams
Got the twin natural escape mattress & charleston plus platform bed & drawers for my tween son. (And 2" mattress topper for me.) Couldn't be happier. I put the bed & drawers together myself - easy assembly, great directions. I'm so grateful I found this website as I was determined to find a nontoxic bed and not a single local shop carried green options. I'll admit it scared me to spend this kind of money site unseen, but I needn't have worried. Perfect. THANK YOU!!!

Super comfy
Super comfy, cost effective and non-toxic! Not a single bit of smell or off-gassing after opening the mattress and it evened out within a couple hours of unrolling.

Shipped and arrived within a week, mattress does wonders for my back, looks well constructed (weighs a ton) and smells like sheep for a couple days :) good experiences all around. Great product - love the peace of mind in no flame retardants and organic materials!

Our daughter has scoliosis and needed a new mattress. When I found My Green Mattress online, I was delighted with the excellent customer service on the phone and decided on the latex. Having bought an air bed online last fall & realizing that the flame retardents and chemicals in most other mattresses are so strong-smelling today, this product seemed to be what we wanted. I was not wrong - she is sleeping so well as the guy at Green Mattress said a medium firm in latex would probably be best. Thank you Green Mattress for an excellent product. We also like the Charleston Bedframe as well!

I love this Mattress
Mattress great. deal great . almost organic Notice no fume at all. Really happy with this no smell bed, i pick the king size with 3 inch latex on top and coil springs. Delivered ups ground no problems. Amazing someone with a sense of decency , price and quality all in one. Just love it. Sales rep at customer support could be more helpful answer question more patiently and be more friendly. 5 star for bed, 3 star for sales staff.

Hi, Tony. We are very happy to hear that you're loving your new mattress. I did just want to clarify that we ship via FedEx, in case anyone is reading this and needs to know specifically. Also, I apologize that you felt rushed on the phone when you called. We are a small, family-owned business with a very small staff that mans the phones as well as our local showroom. It's no excuse, but some days do get quite busy as we try to accommodate all callers and visitors. Your feedback is greatly appreciate; we will strive to do better!
