About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Honest and quick refund with 100 night guarantee
I bought the King sized Natural Escape mattress and although it was too firm for us I still rate this company with 5 stars as they gave me a full refund upon the donation of my mattress, as promised. The mattress was easy to order, came in just a few days, was easy to set up, and was a very nice quality natural mattress with no offgassing smell. I chose My Green Mattress because of the 100 day sleep guarantee, and I would not have purchased a mattress online without the guarantee. The customer service experience was fast and easy, and they worked with me to find a solution when local charities accepting the mattress were hard to find. The new owner of the mattress is thrilled with it. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a natural mattress.

The mattress is attractive. The covering his very nice feels good smells great. I’m just not sure it’s supportive enough for me. My pelvis feels good shoulders feel great but my low back has been bothering me. Started using it Two weeks ago. Trying to give it a good trial.

Thanks, Deanna, for your kind words. Give it more time. We've found that the lumbar support in the Natural Escape can sometimes cause stiffness at first as your back acclimates to the proper support. After this short period, you should start to feel better and find that you're sleeping soundly and not waking up with soreness or pain.

We had trouble deciding between this & …
We had trouble deciding between this & naturepedic for our toddler's bed; I'm very glad we picked this one. Much more comfortable and the wool smell others mentioned dissipated within a few days... I'd call it comparable to the degree of smell you'd expect from a new non-organic mattress, only for this one it was very comfortingly just wool, not off-gassing. I'd definitely buy it again.
