My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Perfect mattress
Exactly what we were looking for at a good price. Quick delivery. No smell. Immediately expanded. It is heavy though.

Great, comfortable and natural mattress at a reasonable price
Did a lot of research prior to purchasing this mattress. We love the mattress, it's very comfortable, great quality and very reasonably priced. We got a King for ourselves and plan to order a twin for each of the kids in the near future.

LOVE my non~toxic mattress!!!

great mattress
great mattress, but would be more accommodating if it had hand holds on the sides to assist with moving and turning the mattress over.

Hi, Gordon. We can include handles, however the organic cotton covers is fragile and handles can sometimes cause tears if they are used to lift mattresses instead of gingerly rotate them. The mattresses do have some weight to them, but rotating is only required every couple of months or so.

Great experience so far
Great experience so far, but would have preferred to also purchase a box spring from the site.

We are thrilled that you're happy thus far with your purchase. Although we do not currently have a box spring or platform bed option on our website (we specialize in handcrafting our mattresses at present time), we do hope to have something available soon!

Best Mattress ever.
Received the mattress i week ago. Great mattress!!! only thing it is not a full 7" like they say. purchased the firm latex and have a 3" med firm topper on top. Have had the best sleep in my life. No breathing problems. I have spinal scoliosis and can get up without pain. My husband stopped snoring and just sleeps now! Love this mattress as it is pure Dunlap latex Does not have any foams in it. My husband is 6'5 and 200# and I am 5ft and 105# and it fits us both. We do not like the feeling memory foam gave us of sinking. Hope it lasts as long as they say. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good nights sleep. and we are both almost 75 now Did I mention my husband has all sorts of breathing issues and they stopped on this mattress!!!

Daughter with eczema
I love their organic mattress. I was hesitant to order it at first because I had never ordered a mattress online and the thought of it coming rolled up seemed weird to me. My daughter has severe eczema and after doing a lot of research I read that the owner started this company after one of his children had eczema. One night my daughter was itching so much that I couldn’t see her suffer anymore and wanted to do everything I could to eliminate anything that would irritate her skin. We had memory foam so I knew that wasn’t helping. After our first purchase I loved the mattress so much I ordered 2 more. We sleep better at night knowing we are sleeping on a organic mattress. We compared with other so called organic mattress companies and my green mattress had the best price and value.
