My Green Mattress

About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Natural Escape- great mattress!
Purchased the Natural Escape mattress originally and found it to be somewhat less firm than preferable. Easy experience to donate the mattress and receive a full credit. Requested if MGM could produce a custom Natural Escape with slightly firmer Dunlop latex. Tim, the owner, was the most helpful to accommodate this request. I was traveling and wanted to wait until I arrived home to receive the mattress. He put a draft order in the system; I called a week later to place the order. Delivery was quick as before, and this mattress is quite comfortable. They produce a quality product and are one of the nicest, professional companies I have bought from in some time. Tim is the best! Would highly recommend him and his product to all!

Mattress nice, but the shipping experience...
The mattress is nice. However, the company doesn't have their own shipping company. The mattress was shipped by FEDEX. They left it in front of your house. You have to do the rest like moving the new one to the bedroom, then wrapping and removing the old one yourself.

Hello, Tim. We're glad to see that you're enjoying your new mattress! Unfortunately, being a small business we do not currently have an in-home delivery option for our customers, outside of our local area in Illinois. We have to rely, as many businesses do, on a large delivery provider such as FedEx to get our safe products to your home. We do have videos on our website, showing how our mattresses are packaged and how they arrive at your home so that you know what to expect. We're sorry if you had any trouble setting it up, but we wish you many years of restful, healthy sleep on your new My Green Mattress!

I love that it is 100% natural truly
I love that it is 100% natural truly. Customer service was great. But my first delivery was wrong. Neither box that I received had "my green mattress" on it. Overall I am pleased with my purchase!

Hi, Sarah. We do apologize for the error in fulfillment of your mattress. We did quickly rectify the issue, and do appreciate your kind words. We are a small business and although we aren't perfect, we are constantly improving our products and how we service our customers. One of these improvements planned for the future will be branded packaging. Best, My Green Mattress

So far, so great!
So far, so great!! This mattress came more quickly than expected and bounced right in to shape immediately. No smell at all and it's so soft my kids loved hanging out on it on the floor until the bunk bed came a few days later!

Great mattress
Great mattress - I love that it is safe for my son to sleep and dont have to worry about chemicals. The mattress was a great price and so far he loves it. I really love soft mattress' and was worried that it would be too hard - it is perfect - not too hard not to soft. I think we will be ordering one for us.
