About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

We bought two kings and two single XLs-…
We bought two kings and two single XLs- to replace our current conventional mattresses. One king with a wool topper and one with a latex topper. All of the beds are so comfortable. They shipped quickly and we knew just when to expect them (from clear communication by email). There was no smell (as I've read there can be in natural mattresses)...if anything just a mild pleasant smell. I researched natural mattresses extensively before ordering and am so happy we went with my green mattress. Our kids love their new beds. And we love ours.

We love it so far! Great company.
We have only had our mattress for a few days, but we are very happy with it so far. Delivery was quick and mattress while heavy was easier to move than a regular King mattress. We loved unpacking it and letting our 4 year old jump and lay on it without worrying about all of the chemicals in other mattresses. It seems like it is of high quality and comfortable. We may add a feather bed to ours but we love plush, fluffy tops with good support underneath and previously had a featherbed on top of our pillow top mattress. I really appreciated the company taking the time to answer my questions and make the decision process easier!

Great mattress/ great people
My Green Mattress is family owned/operated. I lived in Chicago years ago when I first discovered them. Even after moving to another state still buy our mattresses from them. Good honest people with a good product.

Delivery came in a timely manner
Delivery came in a timely manner. Love that the bed didn’t smell of chemicals like previous ones I have purchased from other companies. Seems to be very well made and my daughter sleeps well in it!
