Beware
Beware – Unauthorized Subscription Charges for Blade Refills! I ordered a firebird shaver from Freebird, thinking I was making a one-time purchase. To my surprise, a few weeks later, I received another shipment of blade refills something I never signed up for. Along with it came a charge to my account that I also did not authorize. There was absolutely no clear indication at checkout that I was being enrolled into a subscription service. No email warning, no confirmation asking if I wanted more blades, and certainly no option to pause, delay, or cancel the shipment before being billed. This is not just misleading, it's dishonest. It feels like a deliberate scam to exploit customers who assume they're making a simple purchase. I tried to reach out to customer service to get a refund or at least cancel the subscription, and the experience was frustrating and slow, with no accountability. If you’re considering ordering from this company, read every fine print—if there even is any—and watch your billing statements closely. I would strongly recommend staying away until they change these shady, predatory practices.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and your frustration with the refill program. Our subscription should always be optional and clearly communicated, and it should never feel hidden or misleading. The lack of clear notice and the difficulty you describe in getting support is not the standard we want to uphold. If this has not already been resolved since your review, please reach out to us at [email protected] with your order details so we can cancel any unwanted subscription and issue the proper refund. We are also working on improving transparency at checkout and making subscription management easier for our customers. – Team Freebird
