Adequate product but disappoibted
I am disappointed with freebird razor. It feels much like gripping a small computer mouse. I have large hands. I am unable to get a comfortable grip - feels awkward while using. Additionally, the device feels very flimsy....feels like lightweight plastic. Even the docking station feels like cheap, flimsy plastic. There is no ac adaptor - another disappointing feature since i do not own a personal computer, so i am unable to charge the device. It cuts no different than my old electric razor. I was not impressed with quality of the cut. I would like to have a razor with a little more weight and size for those of us with larger hands. All in all, i am very disappointed.

Bad product, bad support
On frequently asked questions, their website specifically says that their product is safe to use below the waist. It is not safe to use below the waist as I have learned by using their product. I requested a refund four weeks after purchase and a week later I finally learn how to formally request a refund even though I have specifically sent them a message requesting a refund prior. I am immediately told that my purchase is beyond the 30-day point. These people are not good and should not be trusted.

The shaving kit is in plastic and broke…
The shaving kit is in plastic and broke after the first use. Plenty of plastic everywhere. 2 months after I paid and received blades I never ordered and will never used. I spent 5 minutes to then find on the website where to cancel the subscription I never agreed!

Not a reputable company!!
Not a reputable company!! After I bought the razor I received a package with a blade refill, like $50 or so. Never signed up for that. I told I can send it back and get a credit, minus $8 shipping cost. Never got the credit. Total scam!

Beware——if you purchase from this site
Update #3 I contacted Freebird again after their response to my review. Freebird did respond and give me a full refund as well as not needing to return the razor refills. Although I will not order again from this site, they did make the situation right. Update to response from Freebird: I did ask for them to make it right and the person, Kristine, stopped responding. I also attempted to place an order to see how ‘clearly’ the terms for the subscription are, and I am not sure how small, light gray writing is clear. I wasn’t even told exactly what products in my cart qualified for a subscription. Freebird, do better! Beware——if you purchase from this site, you will automatically be enrolled in a refill subscription. I bought a $40 razor was enrolled to receive refill blades for $50 each time. I do not support companies with aggressive auto enroll subscriptions and will not order from Freebird again.

Fraud
Fraud. They sign you up for a "blade subscription service" without your consent, then make you pay to return the blades. The razor itself is okay at best. Light and flimsy. Probably not worth the price, even from a legitimate seller. There's no way that all of the positive reviews that they get are real.

Absolute con. Went through the entire purchase process till confirm payment. Found in the print it looked as though you were agreeing to further subscription s. There was no way to agree or not agree, that in itself is fraud. I deleted my details and closed the page. Looked good but after reading the fine print, not bothering to purchase the item. I only buy from straightforward sellers. To me you are very devious in your marketing. I will be contacting the Consumers Institute of New Zealand in regards to this con.
