Unbelievable! Horrible! I bought three pairs of glasses at the N. Collins location at a cost of $980. After seven months of frustration and nine trips to the store - my glasses never matched my vision. Even after not having my glasses and knowing it had been a seven month-nightmare, the manager refused to give me a refund. Not even a partial refund. I've never in all my life been abused and lied to like this. No respect for my time! No sense of obligation to get things right. No refund. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! -Robert S.

They straight up lied on the BBB complaint case. They didn’t have frames that fit my face, so I requested an allowance for new por elsewhere, they said no. Really? You lose people stuff and have no idea what happened to it? Rude/ unprofessional / awful customer service.

Disappointed is an understatement as I do not have backup eyeglasses and my old pair was too damaged to wear. First off, false advertising. Obviously I knew that no eye exam is "FREE" and told the sales associates that...he admitted it was "included" in the cost ($45 for eyeglass exam). To my surprise - you aren't face-to-face with a doctor...you're video chatting and examined that way. This felt odd and borderline illegal to me but I’m not a medical professional. I have to say that the time spent with the sales associate was thorough and he was professional and friendly. However, I realize this is because the end cost is much higher than you'd pay at most other places and the time it took to get an order placed was too long. In 2016 I got eyeglasses AND 2 pairs of polarized sunglasses at Walmart Vision for almost half the cost. This time around, I was in a bind and My Eyelab was able to get me in the quickest. 11 days later and my order is still in production! I've called 3 times to hear "just a couple more days", meanwhile I am using 4 year old prescription sunglasses to get by! Meanwhile I’m driving in rain and bad weather in Georgia. My driver’s license states that I need eyeglasses to drive! I made it clear that I've had eyewear produced within 3 days at other places and the wait time is downright dangerous for those who don't have backups. Each time I’ve called I’ve spoken with a different person, all of which have no concern....and I paid $500 for it. Got a call to pickup on day 12....only to show up and be told 1 pair was there. SUNGLASSES! I explained (again) how desperate I was and was told a shipment got “caught up” in customs in CHINA because of coronavirus!!! What?! No doctor in-house, labs all over the place, and no customer service. Email bounced and live chat was less than helpful. They claimed that all labs are in the U.S.!! Stay away - lawsuit waiting to happen.

This place is a total ripoff. Had anyone told me glasses take two weeks to come from Florida, I wouldn't have taken my son in at all. The "free" glasses are marked $19, but they charge extra to put lenses in the frames and none of the kids' frames even fit my 9 year old's face. We'd found one pair of $29 frames that fit and I was under the impression I could just pay the extra $10 each to get those (they advertise $59.95 for two pair and exam). Nope. I finally asked if I could just pay for the exam and get the prescription and was quoted $45. When I asked how much I could pay for just 1 pair, the price went up again. Out of the budget, I said. The lady I dealt with was very sympathetic, though, and after going back and forth on what I could afford, finally let me get the one pair for $50 and gave me a couple recommendations for local 1-hour stores. My son has horrible vision and rolled over on his glasses accidentally. Going two weeks without glasses is not an option. So, while we wait for those, we're doing the best repair job we can and putting in a rush order for $15 from zennioptical.com (they're the best). Don't waste your time or money for a scripted tv "doctor" at this place!!!!

I would give the Katy, TX location a zero or negative if possible. My first experience and pair and it's awful. My son told me to cancel because they tried to hit me up for over $500.00 I complained during the exam which was done by a monitor that the lens was fogged up. So here it has been over 2 weeks and they claim they have to remake them. They did not pass inspection. Now it will be another 7 plus working days . This is awful. They can not even guarantee this. The employees are nice but the product and service no and the monitor exam no. What am awful experience. I wish I would of read the comments before I wasted my time and money
