This is a scam to get you in the door, then they flip the script. I was told over the phone that contact exam was 89, that's all i needed but when i got in, they told me i had to buy contacts and then they were 99 dollars a box, and of course i had different rx for both eyes. I walked out of there paying 300 dollars, during this time when i am on furlough. I told them i couldn't afford it but they told me that i had to buy them or wouldn't get my rx. then to make matters worse i can't see out of them. the dr on the screen didn't work, my eyes are always blurry! Don't fall for it, just pay regular price at a good place.

I went to MyEyelab in October to purchase two pairs of no line progressive glasses from the office in Duluth, Georgia. I was ushered into a room and shocked to find out that the eye test was conducted online/virtually with a gentleman in a white coat with an indian accent based in INDIA! When the exam was over, I was taken back into the main store front to the glasses displays where I was met by a salesperson who asked if I had CareCredit of which I responded, yes. He then went ahead to give me a quote for $900 for my glasses and all the "extras" - as they had detected that I had an astigmatism - threw in an extra pair of sunglasses as an incentive for the transactions. I went ahead with the transaction, they processed my CareCredit payment and THAT'S when the NIGHTMARE BEGAN! Unfortunately, the first time around, the glasses arrived damaged at the store, and this was just the beginning of a long catalogue for discrepancies. I had to bring the glasses back FOUR TIMES - each time, there was something terribly wrong with the glasses - ill -fitting, wrong lenses, cracked lenses, inability to see out of them, incorrect alignment, etc. Despite numerous attempts to work with MyEyeLab, it appeared that nothing they did could resolve the issue. I had to eventually "suggest" to them that they must have tested me incorrectly and that "maybe" I might do better with just bifocal glasses. They agreed but was still unable to rectify the situation. After nearly 3 months of back and forth with MyEyeLab, Duluth, I called Stanton Optical and spoke with a Customer Services operative who told me that I would be eligible for a refund, but this never happened as MyEyeLab in Duluth, GA refused to refund my money. This ordeal continued on until February - 5 months! I pleaded with the store that I had no glasses to wear, that my standard of living had diminished considerably, my eye sight was deteriorating which was seriously affecting my ability to work and also was unable to drive my car safely, amongst other situations. As I had paid $900, my budget for glasses was exhausted so I was at the mercy of MyEyeLab, Duluth, GA who promised over and over that they would get it right if I would only be patient with them. Other than make promises, the salesperson was very pleasant and understanding but, was ultimately, unable to do anything about it. In the end, I contacted CareCredit who investigated the payment on three occasions and, unfortunately, they sided with MyEyeLab stating that, because my glasses were "custom-made" and because I had signed and taken the glasses away, that, unbeknown to me, it was a agreement that I had approved the purchase. I was told several times by numerous sales assistants in the Duluth, Snellville, and Conyers, GA they they would help. I've had countless conversations to no avail. I was told each time that I could bring the glasses back for a REFUND or that they would resolve the issue to my satisfaction on SEVERAL OCCASIONS. On my last visit to MyEyeLab to collect my 4th remakes, sadly, they were unusable and I still was not able to see through them. I was told within the investigation carried out by CareCredit that, because I signed the collection sheet, this was a contractual agreement that I had accepted the purchase. This APPALLING service continued up until the end of February when, after giving them several opportunities to remedy and rectify the situation, I had no other alternative but to leave the glasses with MyEyeLab, knowing that if I signed and took them away, I would be bound to the transaction. The fact of the matter is that I spent $900 with MyEyeLab and have nothing to show for it. As of this date, May 3rd, 2020, I still have NO GLASSES. I intend to take legal action against this unprofessional and deceptive company and will publicize on social media, press, The Georgia Department of Laws Consumer Protection Div, BBB, the BCP/FTC, etc to highlight this company.

I called and explained what I needed which was a set of lenses for an existing frame. They said that could be done. I set an appointment and went to the Fort Lauderdale location. The lady there said they could Not do that. Then proceeded to tell me they could, if I bought the most expensive set of lenses. And she further added that the prices were for two sets of glasses and didn’t know how they could be adjusted for one set of lenses only. Seems like they can only work from one template. I would think they would work with a customer to try to accommodate a little better. I am also in customer service and that’s what I do. There was no attempt to speak with a manager or anything.

I've waiting for a refund for 3 months and nothing happens. This is the worst place I've ever step in. there is no way to talk to anyone in corporate, only thru the store. They are trying to do what they can, but still they are not able to help you out. I hate this place so much.

I give a 1 star just because I cant do less than that. I make an appointment @ 4:45 and they had a whole week to let me know that they couldn't do that because they close at 5pm. I have to mention that they do ask you what is the appointment for, and I said for a eye exam.. and they waited till i get there to tell me that.. not only was a waisted of time but the person that drive me there got mad for losing time ( I thought I was going to get my eyes dilated) pay someone to watch my kids

One star is way to much! I made a purchase at the lauderhill Florida store. Firstly, the material they use for the lenses is super cheap. But worse is the customer service. Today is 48 days since I made the order. And even worse nobody knows how to say where it is. The store in Lauderhill not answer the phones. So I have had to go personally several times. Without any success. One of those times they told me to call the next day because the person who placed my order was a manager and was no longer there. "Can you believe that" if the manager is not here, no one can help !!!! This point asked that an area manager contact me two times and they still have not. 48 days and my son does not have the glasses that he needs so much. It is obvious that none of them cares about the that business . And the reason that the business is not theirs. I assure you that if it were one of those inefficient employees of the lauderhill store this would not happen. What I want is to receive this order so i will never to see them again. Little by little, businesses are destroyed by situations like these. And it is clear that anyone who asks me or wears glasses will let him know how bad his service is.
