Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. How is it possible to have the wrong prescription glasses sent to you TWO TIMES????? First pair received, my prescription is WAY off and it’s like walking around in a fish bowl.. Come to find out, my astigmatism was left off the prescription (what the heck?!?!?) and there were several other issues with the prescription as well, I just didn’t ask too many questions & decided to allow them to do a new exam and send me new glasses. Second pair received today, and again, fish bowl glasses. Beyond over it. This is going on month three that I have been waiting for glasses.. Patience is gone, asking for a full refund so that I can go elsewhere and work with people who actually know what they’re doing.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This place is ridiculous. I took a minor I have living with me who just obtained Medicaid. I have previously used Medicaid on a child at other facilities. THERE IS NO CO PAY FOR MEDICAID. They told me there is a 25$ co pay ok whatever I'm in a hurry I'll pay it. Medicaid also covers 1 pair of glasses per child per 2 years up to a specific amount based upon RX. I know how they work but yet I still called Medicaid upon leaving. By the time I would have left they would have received 200 plus in "co pays". For a pair of plastic Medicaid grade frames and basic lenses; they never once obtained her insurance card to process. They do not process insurance they simply charge you more than the out of pocket cost and buckle and dime it. This place needs to be reported.

My eyelab the exam went good and smooth. It's been over two and a half weeks and I still have not received my prescription that was supposed to be in and still have not made it and no one can tell me exactly when it will be in. When I call they just put you on hold and don't get back on the phone

I just gotta say how disappointed and disgusted I am with Myeyelab San Antonio. I went in well over a month ago for contacts and glasses, was told the glasses would take about 10 buisness days for completion, next thing I know it’s been over a month with them telling me over and over again they would be ready next week then the week after that and so on. When I FINALLY get them they come in a simple eye lab case and that’s it, the lady just hands it to me. I chose from the designer section so I expected them to at least come with the designers case, tags, and usual paperwork but they didn’t. And to top it all off they came with finger prints and oil on the nose piece as if someone tried them on??? I’m just so confused and grossed out by the lack of sanitation and care that went into something that’s suppose to go on my face (especially considering COVID is going around) AND the prescription isn’t even right 🙃 I paid over $400 for this? I’m dead. Don’t go to this place all the negative reviews you see online are 100% accurate and I wish I saw them before giving them my buisness and money.

Do not go there, they have terrible customer service. I went there for the special, wind up spenting $400+. One of my glasses both lenses were scratched. I took my glasses back in March, they were closed due to the virus. When they opened again, I went to pick up my glasses, nothing was done! They resend them back to replace the lenses, its now May, I didnt get a call so I went there on on July 18th, it took them 30 mins to find them and when did, the frame were all scratched up, so the manager said to come back on Monday 21th they will have a replacement. Well today 07/23 I went there to pick up my glasses, they did not order them and now they can't find my original glasses!!!!! The same manager told me to come back again and that she will personally go pick them up from another location!!! Its been since March and now it July!!!!! Location Abrams and Northwest Hwy Dallas!!! Buyers Beware!!! They do not care about there customers!!! No one knows what's going on!!

I recently went to My Eyelab for an exam June, 2020. I have not had an eye exam in about 3 years because my old glasses were working fine for me. I could tell that my prescription had changed and I thought why not give them a try. Everything was fine until the tech told me that the doctor was ready for me and I walked into an empty room with a tv screen. It was to my surprise that it was a virtual exam. No one had ever mentioned that small detail. It was so awkward. The glasses that were 2 for $59 were very cheap frames. I picked another frame that was buy one get one free. When I sat down to go over payment, it was about $500. I asked why it was so expensive if the frame was $130 and one was free. Apparently, if you dont choose the $59 deal they charge you for everything. I was told that my prescription was not that strong but they gave me a prescription for a bifocal. When I got the glasses, I could not see out of them. I am now wearing my old glasses again because I can see out of them better. LESSON LEARNED. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GO TO A PLACE WITH A REAL PERSON NOT VIRTUAL. Now im out of more money getting another exam.
