I've had mostly a very positive experience with Emma. Really, my only issue lies with the weak integration with Gravity Forms/WordPress. We exclusively use WordPress and Gravity Forms for our client builds, and want to exclusively use Emma. However, beyond adding *new* subscribers to a list, I am unable to use the Gravity Forms/Emma integration to do anything else - for example, launch a workflow for an existing subscriber who enters their email into a form. I've contacted support (and they've been very helpful), but the answer has always been that they will add it to their list.
