When signing up for a My Clean PC software protection that costs for $19.99 a year be careful. The company's website purposely steers customers into a tech support program that has a monthly charge even if you do not want it. It's very difficult to catch and the first additional charges did not show up on my credit card bill for a significant period after the initial transaction. Thereafter, if you try to get a refund for services you did not want or use, the company immediately falls back on the unfriendly customer policy of refusing to refund any of these fees unless they occurred in less than thirty days, so watch your bills closely. Even if you eventually straighten it out that you only want the yearly software after wasting significant time on the phone, each yearly renewal the company intentionally places you right back in the same tech program with a monthly charge that you already spent so much time previously opting out of before. Even though you make it clear you do not want that service, you are shunted right back into the monthly fee program. Then once again, if you don't catch unexpected charges on your credit card bill, you are stuck paying for services you never used or wanted because of their company-friendly less than 30 days refund limitation. It's quite a racket, so don't get caught up in their deceptive contrivances. Now I can see how they afford so much TV time. Be aware! Be very aware!

I can't understand some of the negative comments/reviews that I just read about "My Clean PC/US Tech Support/My Clean ID...Although I can't remember how long I've been a customer, it was at the beginning stages of viruses on computers when I saw a commercial and thought "why not"? It has been the absolute best "why not try it"? program...Now all of a sudden scammers/hackers/viruses have become rampant...I simply call "tech support" and problem is solved...At first I was concerned when the "free scan" had a "hidden" fee and I was asked for my credit card #..However, over the many years that I've been a customer I have had pleasant conversations/assistance from their technicians which is so important nowadays...I would highly recommend My Clean ID to everyone!!

Software cleaned up my old desktop and it runs a bit smoother and faster now. Thanks.
