I paid for this and it would not download, they wouldn’t give me a refund because they wanted in my computer to ‘fix’ it, I just wanted a refund but I’ll gladly do without instead of staying on the phone trying to understand people or arguing with chat.

Hi Cindy, I'm sorry MyCleanPC wouldn't download for you. I understand you were looking for a simple refund, not a troubleshooting session. If you'd still like to pursue a refund, please reach back out to our MyCleanPC support team at (801) 857-2368 or through live chat at mycleanpc.com and tell them that's what you're requesting so they can review your options with you. If you'd like to share more about your experience, you're also welcome to contact me at [email protected]. We appreciate your feedback and regret the frustration this caused. Best, Reputation Manager

Contact to cancel a subscription online…
I tried to cancel a subscription online and by telephone on the number, 0800 018 3305 twice now, but have been cut off each time. I hope this is a genuine technical error and not an intentional action

Charges and billing are hard to…
Charges and billing are hard to understand and are not straightforward. Cancelling is a 20 minute experience. $49.95 annual fee suddenly appears and is a ripoff that is not disclosed. I am trying to get my bank to reverse the charges. It may be a fair product, but it is sold and distributed with the tactics of a used car lot circa 1975.

Constant spam claiming my cloud storage has run out, only to link to this site. Reported to their privacy team many times, but they keep coming. Obviously using illegal tactics to get people to sign up. Will report to the FBI. Follow up. The email you have provided just bounces, so I am not able to contact

Stay away
Stay away. Support is in a foreign country, and when I tried to cancel, they assured me it was cancelled, and yet they continued to charge me. Now I am on the phone again, trying to cancel. This is not a review of the product but of the unethical approach in not allowing customers to cancel.
Response from MyCleanPCFeb 5, 2026
Hello Richard, Thank you for sharing your experience. I understand how frustrating it is to be told a service was canceled, only to see charges continue afterward. I’m truly sorry this situation left you feeling that your concerns were not taken seriously. Your feedback is important, and no customer should ever feel prevented from canceling a service. I’d like the opportunity to review what happened and make sure this is fully resolved for you. Watch out for the Sales Hook.
I purchased a one year subscription for $19.95 introductory offer. I was not diligent and after six months noticed they were collecting $19.95 each month for six months, $120. Then they took $49.95 for 2026, for a grand total of $170!. When I called them they said I purchased a "Bundle". Evidently, if you purchase a "Bundle" you automatically donate $19.95 in case you need assistance! I will say the software is OK, but the sales tactics are a "HOOK", be careful. They refunded the $49.95 and I cancelled with them and they lost trust my trust. I'll wait to see if they refund the $49.95. But the $100 for so called assistance is gone.

Hello Ted, Let me apologize for the mix-up with the LiveTech subscription and the confusion around the bundle. Further, thank you for taking the time to share your earnest feedback. We are always looking to improve the clarity of our communication, so I've noted your case for internal review. My goal is to identify what we can do better to avoid this happening to anyone else. If you would like to share more, please contact me at [email protected]. I'll see if I can work on getting a better resolution for you as well. Best, Logan D. Reputation Manager

Like so many others I purchased the product for self installation. I paid by credit card and funds were deducted. The following month, additional fees were deducted. When I questioned this, they told me that tech support was free for the first month and thereafter I was subscribed for a monthly fee. A very sneaky way of obtaining extra funds without people knowing this. I asked for a credit, but they informed me they couldn't refund 2 charges for a service I never new was going to be included after the initial 30 day free period. I am told them to cancel everything and I thought the company was very underhanded in how they did business. I wrote a review with the BBB and hope people do not use their so called service.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, Rick, and we truly appreciate you sharing it. We understand how frustrating it is to encounter unexpected charges, and we take concerns about billing transparency very seriously. While our support subscription includes an initial free trial, it’s clear the details were not communicated clearly in your case — and for that, we sincerely apologize. We also regret that your request for a refund was not handled in a way that felt fair to you. Please reach out to me directly at [email protected] so I can personally review your account and work toward a resolution. Best, RealDefense Reputation Manager
