I recently placed my order with Alloy for HRT. They charged my credit $129.00 for 2 different types of estrogen even though I only needed one. I tried reaching out to them multiple times. They don't have a customer service number. I emailed/texted them several times before my order was shipped out. They just responded and basically said sorry your order already shipped, but for your next order we'll get it right. Unacceptable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Alloy is a scam. They will steal your money and ship things you never ordered or agreed to get.
Alloy is a scam. Alloy just shipped me $227 worth of a product without my knowledge or permission and set it up as a subscription without my knowledge or permission. I never ordered anything from Alloy, agreed or approved to any product or plan, and never wanted a subscription to any product they have. I did nothing but get their messaged recommendatinon four months ago. Haven't been in the account since. They just set up a subscription and charged my card and I only found out about it when the package showed up on my doorstep. It is a lie that plant based menopause products require a prescription. They lure people in thinking they actually offer real medication, when it is nothing but outrageously priced non prescriptions, that they can't even tell people everything that is in the products. Their site doesn't allow credit cards to be removed, accounts to be closed, etc. And they have no contact method but emails and texts. They also used some company named Sprite to take money from my credit card account. I never agreed to let Alloy give my information to anyone and Alloy's site doesn't mention anything about it. They put a phone number on the credit card withdrawel that is an automated message stating "they don't take live calls and any message left will not be returned." 888-660-1816 is the number it states to call for alloy on the charge.

Poor customer service/shipping
It's been a month since I started the process and the Dr. approved script 2.5 weeks ago yet nothing has shipped and they are sending me rating request without using the product and the only thing listed on my account for shipping is 2mo. away.

We're so sorry about this! Our team is on it right now and will get these out the door to you!

Alloy falls short at its own professed values
Updated review to reply to the company: Thank you for your response, but unfortunately, it only reinforces my concerns. While you mention that I was provided with instructions on how to transfer my prescription, the real issue is the threat to close my account if I chose a more affordable pharmacy. This approach forces patients to stay within your system, which is particularly disheartening for those of us in states like Mississippi where healthcare options are already limited.
Your business model prioritizes subscription retention over patient care, making it difficult for those who need more affordable options. Alloy’s mission to support women's health seems at odds with its practices, especially when it leaves women like me feeling marginalized. I had hoped for more understanding and flexibility, but instead, your response confirms that Alloy is not focused on truly accessible and affordable care.

Original review:
I sought out Alloy for accessible, affordable healthcare, especially given the limited options in Mississippi. However, I was disappointed when they wouldn't let me transfer my prescription to a more affordable pharmacy, despite having paid for the consultation. They even threatened to delete my account if I did. This approach seems to cater more to those who can afford high costs, leaving those of us with fewer resources feeling marginalized.
What's particularly frustrating is that Alloy claims to prioritize accessibility and affordability on their website, but my experience suggests otherwise. Instead of demonstrating empathy or understanding, they seemed more interested in protecting their bottom line, making it difficult for customers like me to access the care we need. It's disheartening to see a company that purports to care about women's health fall so short of its own professed values.

Hi there - after reviewing your contact, we wanted to clarify a few pieces. Our team provided you with clear instructions on how you can transfer your prescription to your preferred pharmacy which is within your rights as a patient once you become an active subscriber of Alloy which you were.
If you choose to transfer your product out of our platform, we will no longer be shipping product, hence the reason we informed you that your account would be closed. You are always free to sign back up and have renewed access to a doctor but our system is not intended to provide ongoing care unless you are an active subscriber on the platform. We apologize that this was not clear but we want you to find the service that best fits your needs and apologize that Alloy was not quite right for you!

Poor Service
So far, not so good. Spent a lot of time researching (as we all do with this important decision) and decided to go with Alloy. Placed an order that has been in pending for over 5 days, customer service is email only and I've waited days for response - thinking I made the wrong decision.
Response from Alloy HealthAug 27, 2024
We're so sorry for the trouble here! It looks like the order was being held for some issues at the pharmacy which have since been resolved. You should see that order move soon!

Don’t waste your time or money on this company
Incompetent, inattentive… don’t expect to get answers from a “doctor” in a timely manner and don’t expect to get your refills on time or to get any notification whatsoever that there’s an issue at all so you can resolve it to avoid missed doses.
Response from Alloy HealthAug 27, 2024
We are so sorry this was such a frustrating experience and that the requirements that would allow a future of care through Alloy were not made as clear as they could have been. Telehealth is a great option for most, but is not a perfect fit for all however, we absolutely respect your personal decisions as it relates to your health. That said, we often have to be more conservative with treatment than when seeing someone in person and it sometimes results in an outcome where we cannot proceed with care. Again, we apologize that this was not the outcome you wanted and we truly wish you the best on your journey to finding care that fits your personal situation.

Unethical business practices
I dealt with Hayden at myalloy. I wouldn’t do business with them again. They doubled up on my shipments within 2 weeks and charged my card twice. Their phone support was nonexistent. Their emails were very rude. I would think twice about ordering from these people.
Response from Alloy HealthAug 23, 2024
Hi JoAnn - we're so sorry you feel this way! As the latest email indicated, you at one point had two active accounts which explains the two charges. We understand you did not intend to sign up twice and that this was frustrating for you. Our team is here to support you if you need anything else. Please note though, that we cannot work with your husband for HIPAA privacy reasons. Should you need further assistance, please be sure that it is you who is reaching out. Thank you for your understanding here.
