I do not like the email format when talking with the Dr.
I am having a lot of side effects that are interfering with my quality of life.
Using my medical insurance would be nice.
I will not be returning as a patient.

We are so sorry that you aren't feeling your best. While telehealth is a great platform for many cases, it isn't perfect for all and we apologize that the messaging format isn't your preferred method. We wish you the best on your healthcare journey!

Good inexpensive service, but little personalized care
First of all, I appreciate the access to HRT without having to argue with a dr over it, or get a bunch of expensive blood work. Good job, Alloy for that! I also appreciate all of the choices of different HRT products at different price points. I am on a budget, and that is helpful. I did ding them a couple of stars because of their claims that you can message your dr at any time with questions. It generally takes days to get a message answered, and there is absolutely no personal application, just general answers. I have been trying for 2 years now to titrate my prescription amounts to work around some side effects, and the drs will generally give me anything I ask for, but they are giving me zero guidance or help figuring it out. I have to do the research on my own and come back and ask for what I want. So if you are willing to do that, then Alloy is a decent service. I am willing to put the time into that rather than fight with an in person dr, so I am sticking with Alloy. I just get a little annoyed sometimes at their marketing which seems to promise a lot more personal help than is actually available.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback! We know that Telehealth can be a great platform for many to gain access to critical care, but it is not a perfect system for all cases. Given that the discussions happen asynchronously, and that your case requires more detailed conversations, it sounds like a messaging conversation isn't quite achieving your goals and we are so sorry about that! Our team works hard to provide the support and attention each case requires and we're always here to help if you feel like it's taking too long to get an answer! Feel free to email our support team too - [email protected]

I have been using Alloy for about a year.
I have been using Alloy for about a year now. I wish that the company would stop marketing it for menopausal weight loss. My Alloy doctor has been clear again and again that MHT does not help with weight loss. Despite a low calorie, high protein diet and consistent exercise, I have most certainly not lost weight since starting, or had any “fat redistribution.” This has been a great disappointment. I know many women that began MHT with the promise of losing that stubborn menopausal belly fat, and nothing has changed. I don’t have more energy since I went on MHT. And, I find the patches untrustworthy. I have definitely gotten “bad” patches. MHT is not a “one size fits all” Rx, there is often a lot of tweaking that needs to take place for women, and the doctors I have dealt with at Alloy don’t seem to have much time. It seems as though each one is assigned hundreds of women, and are rushing through the messages, often sending copy and paste answers. And, if tweaking does need to take place, I am stuck with months of product that is not right, as we can only order three months at a time. And it’s not cheap. On the positive, MHT has helped quite a bit with my sleep, and for that I am very, very grateful. I also feel much more like a woman again. I am happy to be on MHT, just sad that many of the promises made in the advertising simply did not materialize for me.

Thank you so much for sharing your honest, personal experience with MHT and Alloy. As with all prescriptions, each person has different experiences and outcomes and we are sorry it wasn't the expected one for you! We do not want to mislead current or prospective customers with a promise of weight loss because, like the medical team communicated, MHT is not going to cause this to happen. Rather, the use of MHT can lead to a healthier lifestyle which could then result in weight loss. But again, it's important to us that we are clear in our messaging and will absolutely consider any language that could have lead you to this conclusion. So thank you again for sharing!

Not sure it works for people in unique circumstances.
I was grateful to have access to hrt; however, I learned in an appt with my local menopause specialist that my doses were way off and not appropriately prescribed for a women in my unique hormonal circumstances being in early perimenopause. I think that is due to the lack of guidance and communication from the alloy doctor. I feel my experience with my alloy was incomparable to a one hr zoom call with a local specialist. Additionally, it cost 3 times more than getting a prescription and picking it up at my local pharmacy. So, while I appreciate the opportunity to get the ball rolling after suffering and feeling ignored and dismissed, I don’t feel my alloy was the final answer in a thorough and sustainable treatment plan. I read so many reviews about it working well for many, so it just wasn’t for me.

After reviewing things it doesn't look like you have had any additional questions. Your first order was delivered and typically, the team does not reach back out unless you initiate another conversation. If you do feel like you have questions or concerns, certainly send them a message so that they can make any adjustments for you! Be sure to do that before your next subscription order ships as well.

The M4 alloy product seems to work but the applicator is poor giving inconsistent pumps. I was oversold on additional products I didn’t really need or want.
