## Muzata Cable Railing System Review
## Muzata Cable Railing System Review Where do I even begin? Ordering was easy, but for the price, I expected a much better product. Muzata presents this as a custom system, but there is really nothing custom about it. You may get a 3D model showing what the finished railing is supposed to look like, but what actually arrives is basically a bunch of individual pieces. To me, a custom system would arrive with components properly measured, prepared, and ready to install. This is far from that. The instructions are nearly useless. Instead, you are directed toward videos that do not adequately explain the problems you will run into during an actual installation. The paper instructions are basically a joke. Now for the installation. **Do not blindly follow their instructions unless you want to start questioning your life choices.** The posts themselves were not my biggest problem. The railing sections were. Remember that these metal posts have some movement and tolerance. If you pre-drill all 16 holes assuming everything will line up perfectly, there is a very good chance it will not. Use clamps, get everything positioned correctly, and drill the holes vertically while the railing is actually lined up. The cable system and the so-called hidden hardware were even worse. You cannot simply follow the measurements in the instructions and expect everything to work. Cable stretches, moves, frays, and changes as you tension it. You have to account for that during installation. Then there is the Muzata crimping tool. I paid around **$89 for their crimper**, and mine appears to be defective. It does not generate enough force to properly secure the hardware. I now have posts with broken hardware and some connections that I do not trust. For what I paid for this supposedly complete system, I am extremely disappointed. The installation has been far more difficult than it should have been, the instructions are poor, the hardware has been questionable, and I have serious concerns about the long-term durability. At this point, I honestly do not believe this system will last a year without additional repairs or replacement parts. **For the money I spent, this has been a complete waste of money and a very frustrating experience.**
