I absolutely appreciate the platform, and I realize that I would never have the opportunities you provide (esp. pre-Napster’s decimating of the record industry’s A&R model). However, I’m convinced that I am owed money due to selections not being listen to after three months. also, one of my submissions has the designation of processing next to it. I have never seen this before and I need clarification on what is happening with my selection. I’m not sure of how to actually connect with you to receive an answer to my question. In the same vein, I would hope any answer I receive would not be generic considering paying for a diagnostic. If we have to pay us artists for an individual diagnostic to be thrown into the arena, something as unique as my situation that does not appear in the FAQ section should be able to be addressed individually. I completely understand you don’t want to deal with disgruntled artists, but genuine questions about your platform and how to deeper engage it would be nice.

I have mixed emotions about musicxray. In the beginning, many of my submissions were not being looked at, which I did get a credit towards for another opportunity but as of recent, the system has gotten better and the MIPs are not responding at a faster rate. Also the syncing system to SoundCloud was not efficient but now it is smoother. Even going through all of this, I have still directed multiple artist to here to submit for the opportunities on here. Musicxray is still a site that is still an affordable place where independent artist can reach potential labels, managers, and professional outlets without hassle

I am glad to get my song selected right away for airplay, but I am still waiting for a diagnostic on my song.

It was such awesome news to be picked for airplay. The system you have worked out shows how much work has gone into it. It took a few years, but it worked! The only negative is I haven't heard from the person since being chosen at all. He just said one sentence, that the song would be playing starting 6/30/2020. That left me feeling, 'well, gee, is that all?'. Perhaps, there should be some way you provide to give more feedback after the choice is made. Other than that, I am glad this place is here.
