MusicnotesReviews of musicnotes.com

I like Musicnotes because: 1. It's very convenient. 2. No waiting, . . can print it up right away ( if you're not out of ink, but even if you are, no biggy, they will hold it for you until you are able to print it) 3. They give you typically multiple options of levels of difficulty, and keys, and sometimes tailored versions for specific instruments . 4. You have the option to hear it. It will play all the pages for you if you like. 5.Cost is reasonable. I use Paypal .

Downloaded free version Musicscore apps form iStore. In about one month was charged $15.00. When tried to call them - no one picked the phone, forcing me to leave a message. Left a message (twice) but no one called me back. Last option for me to communicate and discuss this issue was email. They refused to remove charge so I was forced to contact my credit card. Never again dealing with Musicnotes.com.

Perceived problem: I paid for a song but their print feature truncated the right measure/margin and no matter how I set my printer the file was not complete. It appears that the print quality of the music is ok but there is a software bug in their on-line print driver that is causing a nasty problem. I contacted their support group (Chris) and he reset my account so I could print again but still had the same problem. I cannot recommend this site, they have technical problems no one seems to know how to fix. Very frustrated. The FIX: I am changing my review to a higher star level. I wish to exonerate Musicnotes from the above paragraph. The problem I was having was traced to the FIREFOX browser. When I switched to the CHROME browser the printing worked just fine. I would give them 5 stars but they need to specify using FIREFOX is at your own risk up front. And FIREFOX needs to fix this. I'm fine with Musicnotes and as a show of good faith I downloaded and printed another song that was hard to find anywhere else.

User friendly - many songs in store, that are easy to find in different arrangements. Then there is also the possibility to transpose into the wanted key. Easy and quick way to buy and print your sheet music.

The music selection is decent, but many times the sheet music isn't written correctly for the key signature. I had an issue where I was getting e-mails about religious music over and over. When I finally said, enough is enough and I contacted support, they kindly showed me how to unsubscribe from their music site. Just before I followed up, I noticed there is a button for "christian only" music (which mine was turned off), but no such thing for filtering out that kind of music or any other religious type of music. Can you say religious discrimination? Any futher contact with musicnotes.com support was followed up by them with blank e-mails designed to let you know they don't care and they don't want non-christian customers. I will definitely be checking out other music sheet libraries now that I know the truth. This is after being a 10+ year subscriber/member. Go find a better place to purchase your sheet music. You deserve better than musicnotes.com

The music selection is great (and you pay for it), but customer service is POOR! It's not only that they're very limited in their ability to actually help customers resolve issues, they also seem to treat customers like they're stupid along the way. I think I'll look for other online options to purchase music. (By the way had bad experiences on online chat AND calling in). Music Notes Customer Service Staff, please know that even if you can't accomplish exactly what a customer is asking for, a little empathy goes a long way! :) I would lead with this in the future.

Huge collection, arrangements always well done and clean scores (I am a professional pianist)

Easy to order, large choice
