MusicnotesReviews of musicnotes.com

This music company has everything you'd ever need in the sheet music industry

I was looking for Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod written for Guitar & Voice. I found a very good version in G, a little hard for me to play. So I kept on looking for other versions, but non of them were better for my needs. So after having lost quite some weeks I started out practising the musicnotes version in G, and it's wonderfull!

The last time I made a purchase I was forced to either sign in or download an app before printing my music. NOT customer friendly! Why not just send me a pdf? I spent far too much time having to work for this sheet music after having paid for it.

I have used Musicnotes for many years and have built a large library of songs. As a singer whose main interest is exploring repertoire, I would be lost without Musicnotes!

I'm using decent Macbook so it's not running from old version or anything my browser also up to date. I can't get passed the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT, because it kept saying "there was a problem during the verification process of your order. Please contact us using this link and set the category as Payment and Purchasing -> VERIFY4938" I don't know where/what i did wrong and the ipad app didn't work it said connection error.

Sheet music is very useful as a musician ages and finds that they need to find a key that matches their current range. There are a lot of older songs that are not available here but probably no one actually wrote down what they played back in the early sixties.

These prices are getting out of control - $10.99 for 2 pages of music and no there is no ‘cost of delivery’! Price includes $3 fee for printing (which most people need to do) and I was also recommended to pay an annual membership in full upfront for ‘cheaper’ products so advised to spend $70+ just for 2 pages of music! I could probably find ‘bootleg’ copies on the internet if I looked hard enough. At the very least make membership monthly and charge less the more people buy.

Reasonably priced. Excellent quality transcriptions. Ability to purchase in many keys. Able to purchase PDFs. Easy to print off my purchase. Feedback/response from agents is phenomenal. No AIbots either.
