Terrible experience! The company auto renewed a year subscription that was a gift for a friend. We marked it as a gift when we signed up. I called and messaged them asking them to cancel the renewal before any boxes had been delivered. They out right refused and now we’re out $120. I don’t know of any other company that would not cancel a subscription before any goods have been delivered! Terrible policies, terrible customer service.

Like many others have mentioned, they send the same type of snacks and it's starting to get old. First box was amazing, 2nd and 3rd was pretty alright, and then they just got too repetitive. I used to be so excited to receive my munchpak every month but now I'm just bored. It's always different variations of corn snacks, oreo type cookies, and chewy/sour candy. Nothing truly unique. I also would like an equal mix of sweet and savory snacks but out of 10 snacks only like 2 are savory and the rest are sweets. Probably gonna end my subscription soon...

WORSE CONSUMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! They have no numbers and no chat only emails and it therefore takes 24 hrs for them to respond with a question you respond then have to wait another 24 hrs or more for a bad response, they refused to downgrade a 6 months subscription to a 3 months.

When I first ordered from them the first package was great the second package I noticed there was some expired foods when I showed them proof of photos that some of the items were expired they refused to issue me a refund stating that none of their foods are expired and they don’t give out refunds. A few months ago they were offering a discount so I decided what the heck I’ll order again upon ordering I looked at the food and you begin to realize that you start getting the same items the same type of items just from different countries if that makes sense so for example they’ll put a bunch of corn products in there but it’s the same type of item you can get in America they put sweet candy that you can get in America but it’s a different brand in Japan. The snacks begin to repeat themselves and it gets old after a while.

The only issue I have is with the disappearance of the login feature. It seems after your first box ships the login dissappears. You have noway of getting back into the site except to contact CS. They did reply timely but never replied to my question about the login in feature. This didn't sit well with me so I canceled through them. I looked the site over top to bottom and where they state the login is it is not. I took screenshots and nothing.

Not happy - I ordered a 6 month subscription and the first 2 boxes were great- the 3rd was so/so and included a few “replacement” items for items I was actually looking forward to. But whatever - I don’t care... now with the 4th box never made it to their distribution center and I had to reach out to them after 15 days only to have someone say they’ll resend me one... the resent one took almost an additional 15 days for it to get to me. 3 items were in total crumbs and I couldn’t even eat them... now I’m on box 5 and the same thing is happening with the box never making it to their distribution center ... but this time they’re giving me the runaround about resending me a box they lost! I’m aware that there is an issue right now with the postage, but I cannot blame UPS when UPS hasn’t even gotten the box!

I absolutely love and recommend this to everyone! I have ordered many snack boxes from Tokyo crate to Japan crate and this is very well my favorite of them all! I upgraded to the family pack recently because they always send such good stuff! For the last 6 months I’ve been subscribed to them they’ve never been late on a package! Thank you!

The product was OK but overpriced. The think that upset me the most was that they automatically renew the subscription. When I emailed them about it they say when you sign up, It is in the fine print to automatically renew. I find it reprehensible that I have to be in lawyer mode just to buy a monthly snack subscription. So beware with this company. Their practices are unsavory.
