I like the rugs but find the customer service frustrating. I responded to stated offers that were misleading, like a pack of 4 rug grippers they priced INDIVIDUALLY, even though all 4 are sold as a set. Also they charged a “handling fee” for a “free gift.” When I contacted customer service and asked about these issues, they responded: “Thank you for your honest feedback. I completely understand how the handling fee for the gift and the pricing per individual Rug Gripper, rather than per set, could feel confusing and even misleading. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Clarity in pricing is very important to us, and I’ll be sharing your concerns with our team so we can review how these details are presented during checkout and improve the experience for all customers. In the meantime, we’d like to confirm if you would like to keep the two items — the Rug Grippers and the Rubber Scrubber — on your order. Each Rug Gripper pack is $7.96 (4 pieces at $1.99 each), making the total for two packs $15.92. For the Rubber Scrubber, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience; there is a $9.99 handling fee associated with this item. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed, or if there’s anything else I can do to help make this right.” Making it right would be upfront transparency about “handling fees” and clarity with pricing for multipack items. Now it would be refunding the charges for these items since the information was confusing and misleading.

This is a follow up to my review of two days ago. Muddymats did respond to my wife and sent the return authorization. I believe this was done prior to my earlier review being seen by them. Still, not a smooth encounter for us.

I was very upset the checkout was the way it was. I kept getting pop up suggesting sale of anti slip grips for the muddy mat. I was purchasing because they claim it is anti slip. However the grip is nice and have not noticed any slippage. But with the B2G1 and 70% off deal. 3 rugs were almost $80. They are not great. I like them and equate them to a expensive $15 mat at Walmart quality at the most. Will ne purchasing them again.

I have purchased 6 muddy matts and I love them. However, they FALL APART when you wash them. I called customer service and they told me there was a 90 guarantee. My mats weren't even close to being dirty in 90 days, so I didn't wash them within that time period. The FIRST time I washed them (following the instructions), the corners came apart. I'll be looking for a comparable matt to purchase as the Muddy Mats aren't worth the money, are made cheaply and fall apart.

Sadly, after a year and only one washing, our mats are fraying on the edges. The additional pads that we paid for stopped holding the mats in place after we washed the mats. They are great for keeping mud and dirt off our hardwood and tile floors. However, having to keep putting them flat on the floor has been a bit of a challenge. Further, they are now becoming a trip hazard for us.

Not a great designed website. No ability to review order before finalizing it if add on after initial purchase. Quite a few add-ons offered which were hard to determine the true cost and impact to final invoice. Will update the review once the order is received and product examined.

Be very careful when you order from their website. It’s one of those incentive, “buy this, get this at special discount” add ons that a lot of online companies do. Ordering the rugs is straightforward. The additional offered items are misleading, for example: the rug grippers advertised at 1.99 implied 1.99 per pack of 4, instead they are 1.99 EACH. I was charged for FedEx fast shipping (14.98), even though I declined to pay extra. The “free” washing gloves were 9.99 extra handling charge. However, I have to say that when I saw my invoice in my email, I called customer service, they answered promptly, and applied a discount. I may upgrade the rating when my order arrives.

I ordered from Muddy Mat 4 rugs. Two of the rugs don’t stay put they move easily I called the company for a refund instead they sent me corner stickies for the rug. Plus the blue rug was losing its material because I found small pieces on the floor. Was so disappointed because the rugs are expensive. Never again! Don’t buy from them!
