I ordered Muddy Mat on FaceBook. They have "add-on" items for purchase which should have been a cue not to pursue but I ordered a set of 4 corners to secure the mat from slipping. They charged me for 4 SETS which was more costly than the mat. I let them know via email that right after I saw the error but they still sent the 4 sets and billed me in two transactions so there was shipping and handling on both despite only one package was sent. I called the company and talked to a very rude customer service representative who offered me a pittance of an adjustment. I asked that his supervisor call me back, she was supposedly busy, but I never got a call back. I notified my credit card company and they reversed the charges. I did not open the package so the post office sent it back at no charge. Muddy Mat told my credit card company I didn't send it back so the charges have been reapplied. This is taking a lot of time and trouble to resolve. Beware!

Terrible customer service. Will not refund for items never received.

I have ordered 3 mats over a month ago. I have not received them. I sent an email to customer service and got a template response that was not filled in. It said things like we filled your order, it is now with [insert courier here]. Continue to track your order. My tracking link doesn't work. Worst customer service email ever "Richmer". I expect that my order will be in transit until I run out of time to get a refund from PayPal. Feeling like this is a complete scam.

Worst experience of online shopping ever! Wish I had read reviews first. As another reviewer said ended up with more grippers than wanted and £15 shipping fees for “free” gifts. Immediately cancelled order and just had automated responses then a tracking number from FedEx. No way of reviewing order before the payment is processed. Update:- After numerous emails with only the same automated reply offering a discount I was amazed to get a quick refund. I referred to UK and American consumer law.

The mat is unravelling already, I also purchased the rug grippers which do NOT stick to the back of the mat. I only wanted 4 but was sent 16 and charged for them. I have asked for a refund and return address for the grippers twice but got no reply. I don’t like their sales purchase process, when going to the checkout, they have pop ups to purchase other items, 3 in total! The first one being the rug grippers. You click “yes please” or “no thanks, I don’t care about health & safety”. That is an example, the other 2 are similar for the “no thanks”. I don’t like this approach at all. I would not recommend this company and have wasted £42 (inc postage).
