Muddy Mat®Reviews of muddymats.com

Does not do what it says on the tin! Do not buy! First off VAT and delivery plus VAT added after i had authorised payment!!! Thanks paypal! Then it arrives and i test it, video my dog coming in walking across mat and onto white paper. Big paw marks left on paper. No better than a cheap bath mat, yet i have paid over £50 for two mats! Complain and ask for them to pay return and full refund, no they expect me to pay for tracking return and lose more money when they have clearly mis-sold something, which is against trading standards in UK. I suggest a partial refund to reflect the true value of buying two cheap bath mats. Refused, paypal involved, but could only refund if i returned myself. This would mean we losing over £14 because they pretend their mats can soak up water and leave dogs paws clean when they can't! I don't trust them to refund the purchase price even if i did return them. Avoid, they are not a good company and they sell a misrepresented product. Don't be fooled!

Like others on this site...I was on Muddy Mat website looking through. I put in my information and payment. The site popped up more stuff to buy to the point I got frustrated and closed the site. I NEVER SUBMITTED the purchase. I was then charged two amounts. After calling I was told they split the charge and the first amount is shipping and the second was the rug. She offered me a $25 credit. No apology for shady business tactics. I declined and looked for a place to write a review on Muddy Mat website and there is none. Buyer beware.

Wth???? Very disappointing experience! Was billed extra and the rug was not even the right one!!!

Waste of time, money, and energy. Horrible people and products! Disgusting!!!!

I entered my PayPal info to get to the payment screen in order to view shipping amount. I did not click submit and closed the window. I did not receive an order confirmation screen, or an order confirmation email. They charged my account anyway without authorization. I've never had this happen with any other business. Immediately filed a fraud complaint with PayPal.

Wife was on your website looking and wanted to see the shipping charges but had to put her card info in to see it, She did NOT submit the order yet once you collected her info you made an unauthorized charge our card without her submitting a order. The payment is pending and we called our credit union fraud dept and blocked her card and will get a new card soon. You will not get this charge. Scammers.

Bought the mat which was free delivery, paid by PayPal. On finishing it asked me if I wanted the grippers at £4, which I agreed. Never got an order no off them but PayPal did an immediate payment of £21!! Grippers, tax (which you’re not aware) and delivery. Then an additional freight charge of £6!! I immediately sent them a message to cancel. And 3 days later had no reply, and no refund. AVOID

Ordered a large mat at £54.95 plus a floor gripper set at £1.99 via their marketing on instagram, which offered free shipping. Paid by PayPal but as the payment was made I was astonished to see I’d been charged £65.94 for the mat (included “taxes” not mentioned on the site) and £13.54 for the grippers! Immediately cancelled the order but then was sent numerous offers from the company to accept a discounted price/two for one etc. Eventually raised a case with PayPal to get my refund. Don’t fall for it!!
