Muddy Mat®Reviews of muddymats.com

It makes me mad that companies like the one that makes Muddy Mat can make such claims and get away with it. At best Muddy Mat makes a Simple door mat for entry doors. It holds up to none of it's claims and I am absolutely shocked at the amount of people that give it a good rating. At best it makes a good bath mat or mat to stand on in front of your bath sink. All of its claims of cleaning off muddy or wet dog paws and leaving your floors clean of the same are simply false. I don't recommend and will not buy again. Just a company that basically lies to sell there product. These comments are based on my true experience with Muddy Mat.

Same as Walmart shaggy bath mat for $10…. Don’t get ripped off read all the 1 star reviews. I did and bought the Walmart $10 shaggy bath mat and works the same or better.

Horrible dark pattern website with "deal" after "deal" after "deal" asking for upsell of other items or "you don't love your dog". Awful, malicious and dishonest practice. Didn't show the total price until *after* my credit card was charged. Probably illegal business practices, but hey, what am I going to do about it. Avoid this company if you prefer to deal with honest merchants. I will *never* buy from them again.

I placed an order online for multiple muddy mats. The next day I was having second thoughts. I called customer service and spoke with a representative I asked to cancel my order. The rep being a sales person offered me a 50% refund in stead of cancelation. Then told me if for any reason I'm not satisfied with my order I can return my order with NO QUESTIONS ASKED. So I accepted the 50% refund and agreed to try my order under the guise of a money back guarantee. I have received 2 of the 3 oval shape area rugs so far & while they are nice the shape does not work for my needs. I emailed customer service to ask how I can exchange my oval rugs for rectangle shape. I was informed since my rugs are used they are not eligible for exchange. SO BECASUE I WAS LIED TO BY THE PHONE REP I MADE A PURCHASE AND AM STUCK WITH RUGS THAT DON'T MEET MY NEEDS. This is a shady business model to say the least! Don't buy unless you can afford to be disappointed! Rugs are okay but the customer service is terrible. UPDATE: I was contacted by customer service and given a partial refund. They make the returns process next to impossible! I regret my purchase!

I had a horrendous experience with muddy mats. Ordered 3 mats 5 weeks ago …nothing received .emailed 12 times ..reply…order on the way.. nothing received. Then said I’d get a discount code to order again ..didn’t receive either ..can’t speak to anyone ..still want rugs but can’t pay again or get money back..if they are professional they should sort this out for me ASAP

False advertising! Our dog come through dog door crossing a runner ( not muddy mat ) clear across garage. Once in the house she doesn’t cross just 1 muddy mat not 2 muddy mats but she goes across 5 ! Muddy mats and my floors are still wrecked every bad weather day !!!

Great mat until you need to wash them. After going through a machine wash and being spun then on the line to be dried unfortunately nearly 3 weeks later it was still damp. They are great unfortunately that also applies when cleaning. I eventually needed to put mine in the bin as it’s stunk. I have put A review on their website twice but then every time within seconds they are removing it. I would in my opinion give it a miss unless you only need to wash your mat in the summer!

I purchased 2 mats a few years ago, and the edges unraveled on both after the 1st wash. I gave it another try, and when the delivery wasn’t coming I was able to see that it hadn’t even been shipped. You can only contact them through email , and I found out my color choice was out of stock. Of course that was not communicated to me. There is no option to cancel an order on their website. You have to go through the tedious email process.
