They Didn't Put Back Oil Cap I have always serviced my vehicles at Mr. Tire for several years. Recently, I took my daughter's 2019 Honda CRV for an oil change. Someone didn't put back the oil cap after the oil change. Only after the Oil warning red light came on the dashboard did she realize that something was terribly wrong. The following day, Thursday, June 24, I checked, and there was no oil at all in the engine. I went to Mr. Tire, and they ordered a replacement (non-Honda) oil cap and sent a mechanic to my house where the car was packed. The mechanic put in the lid and oil. They asked me then to bring the vehicle to their shop for further check. They cleaned the engine of all the oil spills and said the engine had not yet knocked. That was reckless. They were cooperative, and I am hoping that the engine is really not damaged. That’s a new vehicle.
