33% of 9119 Trust Pilot reviews are only 1-Star. See why.
At the moment Trust Pilot rates this Company as 54th out of 54 in the Pet Store category. Trust Pilot also shows that although 33% of the 9119 Reviews are 5-Star ones, 41% of the Reviews are 1-Star ones. Here's why I only gave them one star... Poor experience; bad enough to make me wonder if it's possibly a carefully calculated scam. Delivery took ages. Dog bed was much, much smaller than size I had expected, even though I checked their size descriptions with the breed, weight and length of my dog. The bed wasn't much bigger than a dinner plate. It was also really thin and of very poor quality. There was hardly any substance to it and my dog wouldn't touch it. So I requested a Returns label as the website clearly said I'd get a full refund (£41) if I wasn't happy with the product, and I knew I'd have to pay the Return postage. I would have paid the £7.20 return postage to a UK address, but what the website DOESN'T tell you is that you have to return the item from the UK to China. I was fuming when I found that it would cost me £25.40 to return it, and by then I'd also discovered all the other 1-Star reviews that complained about not getting a refund, or the item being far too small, or poor quality, or long delays, or just being ignored by this Company. When I complained the Company said I could keep the bed, and they even suggested I give it to someone else as a gift but they only offered me a 15% refund (£6.15). This seems to be a common theme in the complaints from other people. Then instead of accepting the 15% refund they invited me to buy a bigger bed and have a 30% discount on its price, but even with that supposed discount it would still cost me a further £70 on top of the £41 already paid. I turned down their offer. After further emails they offered a 30% refund (£12.30) of the original £41.00 I had paid, even if I didn't buy another bed, but if I accepted this offer I would be stuck with an absolutely useless dog bed and I'd have lost over £28 on it. I refused their offer and instead took up the matter with Citizens Advice & Trading Standards and my Bank. I should have suspected there was something dodgy about this Company when there was no address or phone number on the website. They also say they operate under Dutch Law, but the UK International Consumer Centre can deal with that. So MrFluffyFriend can add my £41 to the millions they must be making as I'm not going to invest any more time or energy or money on this Company now that I've reported them to the relevant Consumer Organisations. I just hope the number of 1-Star Reviews eventually swamps the number of ''supposed'' 5-Star Reviews and that people realise it's not worth buying anything from this Company.
