I purchased an all-in plugin package, expecting it to be a one-time purchase. After one year, they charged me again without any prior notice, as if a subscription for WordPress plugins was automatically required. When I tried to download the plugins I had already purchased, I found that I no longer had access. I contacted customer support, but unfortunately, I was treated in a very rude and unprofessional manner. The plugins themselves are well made and technically good, but the way the company handles customers feels like a typical example of aggressive subscription-based business practices. A good product deserves good customer service and transparency, and unfortunately, that was missing in my experience.

I purchased the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin for my B&B with 5 rooms, expecting it to help manage bookings across platforms like Booking.com. The plugin does support iCalendar synchronization, but what is not clearly communicated is that this is not real-time synchronization. In practice, updates happen with delays (e.g. every 15 minutes), which creates a real risk of double bookings for multi-room properties. For a small accommodation business, this limitation is critical and makes the plugin difficult to use reliably in a real-world environment. This important aspect should be much clearer before purchase. In addition, when I raised my concerns and requested a refund, support was not helpful in finding a practical solution. Instead, the response focused mainly on why the refund would not be granted, rather than addressing the usability issue for my specific case. While the plugin may work for very simple setups, I would not recommend it for properties that require reliable, near real-time synchronization across multiple booking platforms. I believe more transparency about the limitations of iCalendar sync would help customers make a better-informed decision.

You better PRAY that it can actually do what you want it to do. Because if not, there is NO REFUNDS. And when you say what you understood it could do, they RUDELY state that it never could and no refund can be given. This is the most WILD company I have ever seen. The only people who won't refund for something like this is someone who knows its terrible... Had so much hope for them, but the plugin is insanely slow, and doesn't do half of what you think it can do.

You know, I wanna support the little guy but not when customer service is this patronising. They fail to see that their value is primarily in their cost when compared to Siteminder, Little Hotelier, etc.

Booking Calendar didn't work out with what I was needing. From what I read on the site I though it could handle what I was looking for. It's not that I don't have the skills to implement this plugin, it's that it doesn't provide all functionality needed. I bought within 30 days window and they could still not refund me on this, which is absurd. I'm not even going to use this plugin, I've deactivated / deleted it, and canceled my subscription. I'd think they would at least be able to refund it, given the time period.

So when the checkout reinforced that message, I believed the same trial conditions applied across their connected products. I realised within 24 hours that the plugin wouldn’t suit my needs and requested a refund right away. Instead of a professional or understanding response, I received dismissive, gaslighting replies from support. The representative twisted parts of my message, falsely claimed I hadn’t provided a reason for the refund (I clearly had), and replied in a defensive, accusatory tone rather than offering any genuine help. It’s misleading to advertise a free trial when there is no trial at all, and it’s unethical to treat customers this way when the misunderstanding stems from their own marketing. Their support seems designed to wear you down rather than provide genuine assistance. Warning to others: Be absolutely certain this plugin fits your exact needs before purchasing. Once they have your money, you’re unlikely to get any meaningful help or refund — even if their own checkout and related product pages give the impression of a free trial.

I purchased the Appointment Booking plugin from MotoPress expecting it would meet my needs based on their website. After several hours of testing, it became clear it wouldn’t work for my use case, so I opened a support ticket to request a refund. Unfortunately, the support I received (from Eugene) was dismissive and unprofessional. I was told things such as: “we never stated that the Appointment Booking plugin can be used for overnight bookings. I think you would agree that ‘overnight appointments’ sounds odd.” Not only was this unhelpful, but also unnecessarily rude. When I explained I had started a chargeback with my bank, the reply was equally unaccommodating, stating they would be “happy to provide evidence” to the bank rather than offer any resolution. In over 20 years of purchasing premium plugins, I’ve always been refunded when a product clearly didn’t suit the use case – MotoPress is the first company I’ve encountered that refused to do so. Warning to others: make absolutely sure this plugin fits your exact requirements before purchasing, as refunds are not guaranteed, even if the product is unusable for your situation.

Effettuato pagamento dell'unico abbonamento disponibile a 499€ annuale e successivamente cancellato sottoscrizione in quanto il plug-in offriva meno di quello promesso e il servizio assistenza è molto lento a rispondere e spesso non risolve il problema. Documentazione inesistente o aggiornata a 3 anni fa. Di conseguenza annullando il rinnovo automatico si perde l'accesso ai plugin e temi cosa non dichiarata in nessun modo dal venditore; una truffa a mio parere paghi un anno anticipato perché unica opzione disponibile scarichi un plugin da 139€ e se annulli sottoscrizione perdi il diritto di scaricare tutti gli altri plugin o temi, in pratica ti fanno pagare il plug-in da 139€ al prezzo di 399€. Se pago sottoscrizione per un anno, anche annullando il rinnovo automatico dovrei avere diritto a scaricare tutti i plug-in e temi inclusi in quel pacchetto almeno fino alla scadenza ma non è così per loro. Veramente sconsigliata come azienda.
