company gives you a runaround when you try to close your account and getting your cash back so far i have called 8 times over 8 days and sent several emails and all i get are stalling. this is not a good operation for savvy traders, there platform is not user friendly.

One of the best all rounder trading apps around...all in one stops. Trading, news, analysis, tools, resources, advanced features, community, smartsave to earn some interests, etc, etc. You get to play games, earn points. Great and very importantly smooth UI.

What i like: Free charting features available which should serve the needs of most retail investors (vs TradingView which limits free accounts to 2 charting indicators) What i dislike: 1. EXTREMELY extremely subpar customer support (from multiple experiences!) stemming from a clear lack of basic knowledge about the financial instrument and even their own platform. The customer support tends to provide the standard SOP replies without understanding (and/or bothering to understand) the context behind my questions, and disregarding the info that one provides. Frequently lacking the ability to help understand basic questions, let alone troubleshoot. Replies were frequently in poor English and were vague, non-committal, and worse still, confusing, contradictory or just plain wrong. I almost always have to keep repeating my questions and describe the situation again and again. All of my recent interactions with their chat support was horrible. There were few separate occasions in recent days in which i requested for escalation/to speak to someone qualified (after very long, unproductive conversations), but the staff in question indirectly turned down the request by promising to provide an answer in 1 to 2 business days instead. When the written responses arrived they would again be vague and unhelpful. UPDATE 15 Oct 2025: I contacted the support team again to seek clarifications on transacted trade fees. The session was (unsurprisingly) unproductive and the staff could not provide answers to my queries and asked that i wait for their manager to get back. I requested for phone call instead and to my surprise the staff agreed immediately. We fixed a date and time. Guess what, i was GHOSTED. I made time to take the call and NOBODY contacted me, no phone call, no messages. Unprofessionalism at its "best". Additional notes - Beware - read their fee reduction cards for Options trading carefully - they come in different forms and T&Cs and are administered differently, making it very confusing. Some cards are ONLY applicable for SINGLE legs, ie if you have a spread, you can't use it to offset commission fee. By the way, they charge a separate Platform Fee in addition to Commission Fee, so if you do not have any commission-free cards, you actually pay substantially more in transaction fees. FYI - Moomoo ran a campaign in sept to get users to submit a review here in exchange for reward points. Btw, i have not yet received any points for my honest review here. Overall: ABSOLUTE RUBBISH customer support. Platform interface not ideal for options trading. Decent stock trading app with multiple charting tools.

Been using Moomoo since 2022, all great experience whilst using the app, having various useful features too. They also provide plentiful resources for anyone who's new and want to learn or practice trading, such as the forums, paper trading feature etc. Their news update is one of favourite feature for getting up to date too, not to mention the points and rewards function in the app, which makes trading using the app feels rewarding in some ways. It is definitely one of a kind.
