I deposited a significant amount during the 6% promotion but two months later, I still haven't received any interest, not even the base rate. Support was hard to hear over the phone and the need to activate the rate wasn't clearly explained.
This has made moving over to GACSCO, LLC so much more easier. They are honest and the returns are what they promised it would be.

Poor Service
If you’re doing a lot of trades then don’t use it. As They don’t provide Realised P&L statements and it’s gonna be extremely hard for you at the time when you’re lodging your tax returns. They will give you excel spreadsheets of hundreds of trades and transactions you did over the year and you go workout and calculate your realised P&L etc. I guess they don’t want people to know if you’re making or lossing money overall; so you just keep doing without knowing your clear direction.

Moomoo Review: A Masterclass in Bureaucratic Whiplash
I wanted to like moomoo. The pitch is appealing: free real-time options data — including Greeks like gamma — on a demo account, no live funding required. That's exactly what drew me in. Reality hit differently.
The moment I opened my paper trading account, I was greeted with delayed data and a prompt to unlock "Pro" access. Turns out the marketing glosses over a fairly important detail: real-time options data isn't actually free — it requires a fully verified, real brokerage account, and even then it's a separate $2.99/month subscription. Not a dealbreaker on its own (basically every broker gates real-time OPRA data behind an actual account), but the marketing implies otherwise, and that's a bit of a letdown right out of the gate.
This is where things really fell apart. Buckle up:
1.Submitted a passport for identity — fine, standard KYC.
2.Asked for proof of address. Submitted a bank statement in Macedonian Cyrillic. Rejected: "not in English or Chinese."
3.Got an official bank-issued confirmation letter, written in English, with my name, address, and account details. Rejected again — this time for "insufficient information," with zero explanation of what was actually missing.(Keep in mind they ask for 4 pieces of information - your name, address, date of issuing the document, and issuer - all of that information was on the bank confirmation letter)
4.Contacted support to clarify. Got a vague, unhelpful response.
5.Eventually pried out of them that they actually wanted a transaction history / cash flow statement, not a simple address confirmation — a completely different document type from what was originally requested, discovered only after two rejected submissions and several days of back-and-forth.
6.On top of that, somewhere along the way I was told the document needed to be a live camera photo rather than an uploaded PDF — despite the application explicitly allowing PDF uploads.
Every step revealed a new, previously unmentioned requirement. Nothing about this process was communicated clearly upfront. It felt less like KYC and more like a poorly configured chatbot playing document roulette with real compliance stakes.
If you have patience for repeated document rejections, vague support responses, and requirements that seem to be invented on the fly, moomoo eventually delivers a capable platform. If you value your time and sanity during onboarding, be prepared for a bumpy ride — and consider comparing onboarding experiences with other brokers before committing, since this level of runaround isn't universal in the industry.
Bottom line: Great tools, once you survive the onboarding gauntlet. Just don't expect anyone there to actually tell you what they want the first time you ask.

Very suspicious activity...
They had an offering if I transferred money into an account with them I got free stock and would receive interest on the money, so I did. I did not access the account for a while.
Later I received communication that according to law they had closed my account due to inactivity and had sent my money to the state and I could collect it from state as unclaimed money. I logged into my account and nothing was there.
I contacted the state and there was no money. I contacted moomoo and they said the money was still there, so I logged back in. The money was there but under another account number, and it was only for what was originally deposited.
The revenue from the stock and interest was took from me. Very suspicious activity. If I had died and no one would have known of my account they could have easily kept all my money.

Last week Friday I sent documents and…
Last week Friday I sent documents and I’m still trying to withdraw out there account. My lawyer said I shouldn’t have told them I wanted to take my business elsewhere. I read other reviews and there crooks I see plenty people have complained about them giving them a hard time trying to withdraw there money from Moomoo! I sent mail copies with my full name? I sent drivers license? I sent birth certificate? I sent social security card? An I sent 6 different credit and debit cards with my full name and address info that match there information that’s on there app? My full name is Allen J Smiley II? When I created my account I just put ALLEN J SMILEY when I created the account.but I’m the 2nd. So I gave them everything that shows I’m Allen J Smiley II? There really trying to rob me of my money. They sent me another email saying there still reviewing my account? I counted I have 69 emails from Moomoo all of them are related to me trying to withdraw and them fighting not to let me withdraw! This is sad I’m telling ya I work my tail off for my money.
