I have used this product on my last three projects as the finish. It was so easy to use and the outcome was everything I wanted. I primarily build furniture and this finish is bullet proof.

I love Monocoat Natural oil finish because it is zero VOC. The oil is quite easy to apply and dries in about 12 hours. I bought the tin I used In March 2020, 3 years ago in August 2016 and I was able to use it 3 and 1/2 years after opening it. I was worried that it wouldn't last that long after opening. I was told that if it doesn't smell rancid , I would be able to use it and it did work well. That was really good as I didn't have to spend any more money. That , plus zero VOC and a pretty looking floor earns a 5 from me. The shine is not that prominent as compared to the polyurethane finishes but that is okay with me, I know the value underneath that look!

Easier to apply than the instructions said. Mixed small batches so I wouldn't waste to much (being careful to keep to the 3:1 ratio), followed the instructions closely and now have a floor that looks like I spent hours and hours on it when it only took about an hour and a half. If durability is half as good as Rubio says it's still one of the best finishing products I've ever used. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a great looking floor with a lot less of the work required by multiple coats of urethane.
