Although the company treated me right and fully refunded my money I was disappointed as both part A and part B cans were damaged and once opened could not be resealed.

Great Product
Great product. Great purchasing experience. I finished a white oak vanity in ash grey. I could not be happier with the aesthetic. No build or sheen with the ease of wipe on and wipe off. I have found my go to finish.

We have been very satisfied with the…
We have been very satisfied with the product. I had never used the product before and did watch a number of videos prior to doing the work. We used a buffer to apply and remove with white pads I also cleaned the floor with the cleaner and water popped the floor. I probably over buffed the floor but it is very smooth and hard the area is our dinning and kitchen some new wood and old wood that all was sanded and prepped to 100 grit screen. So far we love the floor hoping for many years of service.

Received wrong color stain
I ordered castle brown stain color but I received ice brown stain color. This action caused a delay in me completing my project and delivering to my customer on time. This being my first experience using Rubio Monocoat I’m very disappointed!!

Natural Monocoat
I purchased the small natural monocoat product to try it out on some live sawn red cedar floating shelves. The finish was easy to use and applied just like the instructions. Service and delivery were timely. The reason I didn't give this product a 5/5 is the fact it didn't enrich the colors like many other finishes do and I didn't anticipate this. I typcially use a finishing process that require a number of coats (sanding sealer, stain, shellac and varnish). Through this process, the wood takes on a more "wet" look from the initial application of product. The Monocoat didn't do what I anticipated so I ended up going back to my old finishing process. I think the product will still be a great alternative and I would like to continue trying the product for its ease of use and one application method; however, my first attempt with it left me reverting back to old finishing practices. Overall, it was a good test and I want to try it again; it was an expensive test that did not perform quite as I hoped.
