As Advertised
This is my first experience with these two-part oils and I was pleasantly surprised. The application and preparation of this product is far easier than any other finishing system. I was really happy with the forgiving process of application. No worries about overlapping the coating.....it just all blends into a uniform surface. The surface is smooth to the touch and the grain enhancement is fabulous. I would have given 5 stars but I will wait to see durability.

Love Monocoat!
Love Monocoat. Was able to find an interior stain color for floors but could not find a good exterior stain color. Had to go with Minwax for exterior, I hate to say.

Easy to apply
Easy to apply. Awesome finish. Make sure the wood is properly prepared. Poor sanding will lead to a lower quality finish, but that is to be expected. Although a bit less forgiving than a poly or varnish, the minimal extra work in prep is well worth the ease of application of Monocoat. First time using but will not be my last.

I love Rubio monocoat and recommend it to everyone who asks. It’s my go to finish for almost everything. My only complaint would be that it’s not available at any stores near me in Tucson, Arizona.
