Not really happy with this company - slow returns and random restock fee to return items
Not really happy with this company, the sizing is completely off, I’m a 36C and I need to order a size large? In normal U.K. swimwear I am a size 10.
When I’ve returned two items I’ve been charged a $15 dollar restock fee even though all I wanted was to order a larger size. No idea why they are charging customers a restock fee especially when they need to order a bigger size cos their sizing is way off. Takes ages to return items so I am better to return and take the $15 hit than miss out on reordering a top for my holidays.

Hi Rachael,
Thank you for sharing this, and we're sorry the sizing didn't work out for you, that's really frustrating, especially when you're trying to sort things before a trip.
One thing we do want to clarify: the $15 isn't a restocking fee, it's the cost of the prepaid return label. We actually introduced this recently specifically to make international returns easier, so customers don't have to arrange and pay for their own return shipping (which is often more expensive) or deal with customs paperwork on top of it. If you'd rather arrange your own return shipping instead of using our label, that's always an option too.
We hear you on the sizing feedback as well, and we'll pass that along. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Extremely disappointing experience for an international customer
The products may look premium, but they are made in China and imported into the US, while the company seems completely unprepared for the consequences of current US customs policies for international customers.
I ordered a swimsuit worth around $250, and unfortunately the sizing was too small. Now, simply to return a small, lightweight swimsuit package from Croatia to the US, I am being asked to pay approximately €100 in customs/import-related charges and shipping costs.
On top of that, the customer service has been terrible. Instead of actually trying to help resolve the issue, the responses felt repetitive, unhelpful, and completely lacking in understanding for an international customer facing an unreasonable return cost.
With the recent changes in US customs policy, international returns have clearly become significantly more expensive, yet the company has failed to adapt its return process or offer any reasonable solution for customers outside the US. Instead, the entire financial burden is pushed onto the customer.
For a brand selling internationally and charging premium prices, this is unacceptable. You cannot market and sell globally, charge premium prices, and then provide poor customer support and no workable return solution when something goes wrong.
Paying close to €100 just to return a swimsuit that does not fit is absurd. International customers should be made very clearly aware of this risk before purchasing.
Unfortunately, after both the return experience and the customer service, I would not recommend ordering

10 weeks, still no refund
I placed a large order with Monday Swimwear on 23 May 2026 and decided to return roughly half the order, worth around $500 USD, as the pieces simply weren't right for me.
I returned the items to their US warehouse entirely at my own expense, which is already disappointing for a brand at this price point, but I was happy to do so as it is clearly outline in their terms and conditions. My return was delivered to their warehouse on 3 June 2026, and I have the DLH proof of delivery, including confirmation that it was signed for by a member of their team.
It is now 17 August 2026 - over 10 weeks since my return was delivered, and I have still received neither my refund nor any communication from Monday Swimwear. I have now sent three emails, which have all gone unanswered.
For an established brand operating at this price point, this level of customer service is frankly unacceptable. I would expect this kind of experience from a small, unknown boutique that may not have the resources to manage customer enquiries, but there is absolutley no excuse for complete radio silence from a well-established brand when they are holding $500 of a customer's money.
Save your money and shop elsewhere. Away That Day offers comparable quality, and in my experience, actually has a customer service team that responds to it's customers. I certainly won't be ordering from Monday Swimwear again.

Hi Maddi,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, and we're really sorry to hear about the experience you've had. Ten weeks without a refund or a response is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we completely understand your frustration.
We'd love the opportunity to look into this and make it right. Would you be able to share your order number with us so we can track down your return and get your refund processed as quickly as possible?
Thank you again for your patience, we're looking forward to resolving this for you.

HORRIFIC customer service
HORRIFIC customer service, I say as someone who worked in customer service for almost five years.
I ordered two items of their website, both on sale. One was marked final sale very clearly during the checkout process, one did not have any such label. I wanted to exchange the one without the final sale label. I reached out for their assistance, where their team had the audacity to point me to their FAQ page where it mentions that the item was final sale because it was on sale. Why would I check the FAQ if I had no reason to believe that item was final sale? Shouldn’t it have also been clearly marked like the bottoms were? Needless to say, after much back and forth, and them being very “we understand your frustration” they did not allow me to exchange and instead had the nerve to suggest I purchase the top again in the size I wanted. I’ve never seen a company hold so firmly to giving the customer a miserable experience, when it would cost them maybe $8 for shipping to keep a customer. The suit itself was average quality. I wouldn’t buy one full price, and I certainly don’t plan to purchase from them ever again based on this interaction.
The refunded me for the top and asked me to adjust my review, so here it goes…
They saw this review and then chose to refund me, after NINE emails back and forth with me explaining what happened and asking to exchange. I sent a screenshot of what I saw, that showed the bottoms as final sale, but nothing about the top, and they continued to tell me that “final sale” was all over the item and I should’ve seen it. I’m not an unobservant person and I saw what I saw, and that included the absence of “final sale” anywhere near the top. (I even questioned why one of the items was final sale and the other wasn’t!) They said that it was never their “intention” for this to be my experience and they really did “want to make it right” so I said, okay, honor the price I paid when I reorder the top. They said no.
You tell me how badly they want to be helpful and make things right. 11 emails total. Multiple occasions of them explaining what the website says (or should say, in this case). Literally such awful customer service I’m still blown away. But have no fear because they’ll refund you after 9 emails and a public review.

Hi Hannah,
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, and genuinely sorry to hear the experience left this impression.
Looking into this, the Capri Top was final sale, and while it's understood the final sale labeling wasn't as clear as it should have been on that specific item, this has already been flagged internally with the e-commerce team so the order confirmation messaging can be improved going forward, this feedback is genuinely valuable in helping that happen.
Given the confusion here, a full refund was issued for the top, and this understanding is truly appreciated.

Defective products and no solution from the customer service
I purchased a bikini and the matching cover-up (pareo). I wore them once, hand-washed them carefully, and let them air dry indoors.
The next day, the cover-up had faded to a completely different color than the bikini.
I contacted customer service. Having run my own e-commerce business, I understand that defective products can occasionally happen. However, instead of offering a solution, they told me it was normal for the colors not to match because the items are made from different fabrics.
I even sent them before-and-after photos showing that, before wearing and washing the set, the bikini and cover-up were a perfect color match. Despite this clear evidence, they simply repeated the same explanation.
I cannot recommend this brand. The price is extremely high for such poor quality, and the customer service was equally disappointing.
Response from Monday SwimwearJul 30, 2026
Hi Emma,
Thank you for taking the time to share this. We hear that the color difference was disappointing to see, especially with a set you were excited to wear together.
We do want to gently explain a bit further, as this is genuinely common with beachwear and swimwear pairings. Cover ups and swimsuits are typically made from different fabric types, and even when dyed to match as closely as possible, those fabrics can react differently to washing, water exposure, and drying, which can result in a visible color shift between the two pieces over time, even after just one wear. This isn't a defect, but rather a known characteristic of pairing different fabric types together.
We appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps us think about how we can better set expectations around fabric pairings in the future.

I would give zero stars if I could.
I would give zero stars if I could.
I placed an order for over $2,000 worth of swimwear (more than 20 pieces) because I was preparing for a vacation and needed multiple sizes to try on. I also paid an additional $50 for expedited delivery so everything would arrive before I left.
Instead, my package arrived containing exactly one bikini bottom.
To make matters worse, I specifically declined the optional shipping protection during checkout, but it was somehow added back into my order anyway, costing me an additional $70. I contacted customer service immediately and asked for a refund for the unwanted shipping protection, but they refused.
Communicating with Monday Swimwear was incredibly frustrating because they only offer support through email. There is no phone number to call, so every response takes days. It took them an entire week just to investigate what happened.
Their initial response was to ask me to confirm an address so they could resend the missing items. By that point, I had already returned home from my vacation. I explained that I no longer wanted the order, that I would return the single bikini bottom they sent, and that I wanted a full refund.
Only after I requested a refund did they suddenly change their position. Instead of honoring the refund, they told me that because of the size of my order they could not refund me and that I needed to file a shipping claim.
This makes absolutely no sense. I even sent them a photo of the package showing it was a small mailer weighing less than one pound, which is physically incapable of containing more than 20 swimwear items. The shipping label itself clearly shows the package weight.
As the retailer, they accepted my payment, failed to deliver my order, and then tried to shift the burden onto me instead of making the situation right. I paid for expedited shipping, missed having the swimsuits for my vacation, wasted countless hours dealing with email support, and still had to fight just to get my money back.
This is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. For a company selling premium-priced swimwear, I expected them to stand behind their orders and take care of their customers when something went wrong. Instead, I was left without my order, out thousands of dollars during the dispute, and treated as though this was somehow my responsibility.
I will never order from Monday Swimwear again and cannot recommend them based on my experience.
Response from Monday SwimwearJul 30, 2026
Hi Clay,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account. Missing the majority of a 20+ piece order ahead of your vacation, on top of the shipping protection and communication delays you described, is absolutely not the experience we want anyone to have with us, especially on an order of that size and importance.
We're glad this was ultimately resolved with a refund for the missing items, though we recognize that doesn't erase how stressful and drawn out the process was to get there. Your feedback about the investigation timeline and the back and forth around the shipping claim is genuinely heard, and we're taking it seriously as we look at how we can do better for orders like this going forward.
Thank you for your honesty in sharing this with us.

Horrible quality don’t waste your money
I was absolutely appalled at the quality of the bikini for the price. I could’ve gotten the same quality from amazing for 30 bucks. What they charge for this is absolutely insane. And don’t expect to get your money back anytime soon, the return process is an absolute nightmare. I will never be buying from this brand again, and their marketing is over the top annoying on all platforms.

Worthless
Worthless. I paid for expedited shipping 9 days before I left for a trip to ensure my order would arrive on time. They took way too long to ship the order so I ended up not having the items before I left. They specifically state on their website, "Any US expedited order placed after 12:30 PM will be fulfilled on the next business day." This was definitely not the case for me, and left ne extremely disappointed. To prevent this from happening in the future, I would suggest clarifying the processing speed of expedited orders. Don't trust this company, as they clearly don't care about keeping their promises.
Response from Monday SwimwearJul 30, 2026
Hi Gus,
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're truly sorry your order didn't arrive in time for your trip, especially after paying for expedited shipping specifically to avoid that outcome. We understand how disappointing that is.
We'd really like to look into what happened with the fulfillment timing on your order. If you're able to reach out to our team directly with your order number, we'll dig into this for you and make sure we understand where things fell short.
We appreciate you flagging this, and we take feedback about our shipping promises seriously.
