Molina Healthcare needs to do better
Molina Healthcare needs to do better! It is completely unacceptable for hardworking healthcare providers to experience payment issues while children with autism are having their therapy hours reduced without valid explanations. Even worse, essential services are being eliminated for many children who depend on them for their development, independence, and future. 🚨🚨🚨 Autism is not a fever that simply goes away or gets cured as the years pass. Autism is a lifelong developmental condition, and reducing therapy hours without considering each child’s individual needs is not going to help them develop the skills they need to become more independent and successful in life. These children need consistency, support, and access to appropriate services, not sudden reductions that could negatively affect their progress.🚨🚨🚨 It is heartbreaking to see children and families struggling because of decisions made by an insurance company. These are real children with real needs, not just numbers on a spreadsheet. Providers deserve to be paid for their hard work, and children deserve access to medically necessary care. Molina Healthcare needs to take accountability, provide transparency, and stop making decisions that put children’s progress and futures at risk. Children with autism deserve opportunities to thrive, not unnecessary barriers to their development. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable!
