MODDIYReviews of moddiy.com

I have had a wonderful experience buying their great quality product! I've faced excellent customer service, specially communicating with Eric Leung. Eric was very patient, quick to respond to all my queries (no matter how trivial) and very helpful, especially with my customization requests. Their cables are great quality as per the feel, material used and craftsmanship of the material. Only time shall tell the cable's longevity, however it seems like it shall last me a long time without any issues. Overall, would highly recommend, you can purchase from them worry free. You can tell they stand behind their product and care for their customers.

Ordered 4/25/22. Debit card charged same day. Web site says shipped USPS on 6/1/22 from Hong Kong. No way to contact on web site. Emails just get auto response. Save your money and buy American. They sell on Google so you can't see they are Chinese Bandits til the get your money.

Carrie from moddiy was very helpful and patient with some deep technical questions.

easily led me to a solution

Following the recommendation of a forum user I ordered some parts to modify the power supply in my Mac Pro to accept a more modern graphics card. I had a direct link to the parts and went through the order process as normal. I was charged for airmail shipping but only after the order was placed and "shipped" was I made aware that there is no airmail shipping ("due to COVID") and that it could take three months. After four months had passed with no item I went through Paypal's dispute resolution process and ModDIY fought me the entire time. Ultimately Paypal stepped up and reversed the charges but ModDIY was awful at communication. They claimed that the COVID shipping policy was obvious but it was only posted on the front page of their website and many people will come to the site through direct links from forums where people have recommended a specific part. Meanwhile, orders I've made from mainland China at the same time arrived in Canada within a week. ModDIY support (Carrie) treated me like an idiot for not knowing Hong Kong's specific shipping policies. It's not my job as a customer to know the intricacies of all post office shipping policies especially when they were still charging for airmail shipping they knew they couldn't provide!

Great prices and EXCELLENT Customer Service :)

Carrie was great. Super fast response via email and chat. Helped me locate what I needed quickly. Looking forward to installing the cables in my build. Thanks!

Good customer service. I recommend these guys.
