MODDIY advertises free shipping on the majority of their products but this is not actually the case. Super misleading and support don't seem to care. Be very careful. What is assuming is that the second you post a public review they instantly refunded me the shipping and asked I update my review... While I appreciate the gesture, you still need to fix your website. Until the website correctly states shipping my review stands.

Highlights: 1. Communication during ordering process generally great* 2. Speed of manufacture, noting shipping was significantly longer. Issues: 1. 28 Cable comb used for 24pin MB cable threw out colour scheme. *I feel it would have been appropriate if this had been advertised or queried when I requested a sequence of 12 colours. Even if the 'freestyling' of cables had been applied in a symmetrical manner would have been better than what was delivered. 2. 12V-2X6 GPU connector required physical manipulation of pinched pins to enable use. This wasn't particularly difficult and being only my second time using this style plug may be normal? 3. A bit nitpicky and potentially outside what is reasonable for MODDIY to be aware of, but the specified PSU, the Corsair RM1000x SHIFT, type 5 connector clips should be inverted as they currently twist out of alignment from CPU, not visible to the front, just looks ugly in the back. All in all my priority was to reduce the excess cable length and this definitely did that - I don't regret the purchase despite visual issues.

Ordered two 30x30x2.0 thermal pads. Ordered fifteenth 13x13x1.7 thermal pads. I received two thermal pads, yes, two. I'll shop in my own country, the store is in Hong Kong. Update: They refunded my order, at least that aspect was positive.

Ordered a cable that was in stock in mid-november 2020. The package arrived in my country November 30th, but never moved past the import stage, and was most likely returned to sender. I spoke to modDIY multiple times, and it took them until January 11th to enquire with their shipping contractor about the package. As of now, there has been no change, and they don't acknowledge that the shipping has failed. At this point, I have asked them to send a new package twice because the original product is not on its way, and for my money back. UPDATE After talking to modDIY, my order has been refunded.

I have waited over 2 months and still nothing and no idea where my item is. Live chat is useless as i have been waiting over 24 hours with no response. This is the second time i have had an issue.Update: After contacting the company and posting an appropriate review i received a refund which is good. The part i had ordered never made it onto my project though and that was bad.

It took 10 days from the time of placing the order for it to ship. Given the global conditions, this isn't terrible. But since the website indicates that order processing in unaffected by Covid-19, it was longer than I expected it to be. I was also told via chat that the order would ship 2 days before it's actual ship date which is disappointing. The original version of this review was harsher, probably harsher than deserved, as it was written before the order had shipped and I didn't have a track record with the company to have confidence that everything was going to be OK. I have received a tracking number now and will update this review again once I have received the products so I can give complete feedback based on the full experience. Assuming that the products are of good quality when I receive them, which I have no reason to doubt at this point, I would probably order from modDIY again. They have a great selection of parts, some of which I haven't found anywhere else. I would just make sure to allow a little extra time for everything to arrive in my project plan.

I wanted to update the review. Even though customer service is useless, the quality of cable is great and it fit just as described. It arrived a week later than the 2 weeks they promised. But they only shipped the cable on 4th business day after the order. I reached out on numerous occasions asking why, they never answered or made it right. When even before the shipment they could have upgraded to faster shipping if they are "so busy". This a Hong Kong company so just keep this in mind. Items do not ship from US. Based on the above I am changing the review to 3 stars.
